Beautifully decorated Vietnamese coffee shop. The pâté chaud was among the best I've tasted, it's flavourful, crispy & flaky. There was a generous amount of filling inside their Banh Mi, which was delicious as well. Their Vietnamese iced coffee was a little bit too sweet for my taste (too much condensed milk), but good nevertheless.

Looking for a taste of Little Saigon? This is the spot! Just one look at the décor, & you'll know you've stepped into the right place-it's like being transported straight to Vietnam. The service is exactly what you'd expect from a cozy coffee shop, making you feel right at home. & when Bé is working, forget about it! She's full of energy, always smiling, & somehow makes everything better. Now, let's talk about the food. Best Paté Chô in town, hands down. & their soups? Pure Vietnamese comfort. As for the drinks... good luck trying to sample them all! They've got everything-regular coffee, special coffee, bubble tea-you name it. You'll need a whole week just to try them all, but hey, challenge accepted, right?
Superbe endroit pour prendre un café, travailler un peu, enjoy ce que le Vietnam a de très nice à offrir. Le café trad glacé est insane. Le grain Robusta a vraiment de quoi de particulier, si t'aimes le café corsé c'est vraiment hot. La proprio est trop smatt en plus, si le temps le permet pis que ça te tente, elle va te faire un ti tour des produits pis toute. Un gros oui!

Dès que vous franchissez la porte, l'atmosphère chaleureuse & accueillante vous transporte directement. Leur spécialité ? Les bols vietnamiens, qui sont tout simplement exquis. Chaque bouchée est une explosion de saveurs, avec des ingrédients frais & de qualité. Les banh mi, quant à eux, sont parfaitement équilibrés : croustillants, savoureux & généreusement garnis. Mais ce qui m'a vraiment impressionné, ce sont les soupes. La wonton est un incontournable, riche en arômes & réconfortante à souhait. Le service est également à la hauteur, avec un personnel attentionné & passionné par la cuisine qu'il sert. En résumé, ce café vietnamien est sans conteste le meilleur de Montréal. Une adresse à ne pas manquer pour tous les amateurs de cuisine vietnamienne !
La nourriture était tout simplement ; WoW !! Service impeccable & l'endroit parait vraiment bien aussi. Mais le plus gros highlight c'est la bouffe ! Tellement bien réussi. Le bol vermicelle goûtait carrément le Vietnam & la poutine au porc était une fusion parfaite Québec/vietnam. Le pâté chaud aussi est un incontournable ! Tout ça bien agencé avec de bons matchas, c'était parfait ! Nous allons revenir bientôt !! Merci !! (Pas de photos on a dévoré trop vite!!)

Totally in love with this delicious coffee shop. It's THE spot to go if you are in Laurier area. It's a good spot for dates, friendly chilling & even family gatherings. At BEDEN, you feel like you are part of the family. The friendliest service ever! Diana (the owner) should get an award of the sweetest & best service :) I recommend : All their vietnamese coffee Poutine (they use sweet potato frieds with asian ingredients) Banh Mi (just wow!) PATÉ CHAUD OBLIGATOIRE! Like this is one of the best I've tried so far in my life & it's top 1. I'm definitely going back to try more lf their vietnamese coffee variant!
Une vraie perle de café! Dès qu'on met le pied dans le commerce, on est impressionné par le magnifique décor. La propriétaire est un amour, tellement attentionnée & investie auprès de sa clientèle. Elle est fière de son menu & de ses plats & ça se comprend. Tout est absolument succulent. La panoplie de cafés permet de satisfaire toutes les palettes & les plats traditionnels vietnamiens (certains avec une twist locale & moderne) plairont à tous. La poutine aux patates douces est un must, le pâté de viande chaud aussi!
A very beautifully & elaborately decorated cafe including a snack wall, vintage couches, & a fully functional piano (which someone played very well while I was there). I immediately tried the first Banh Mi sandwich on the menu & enjoyed every mouth-watering, delectable bite of it. Of course, I washed it down with a coffee. This is the first time I've had Vietnamese coffee with egg. I don't even usually drink coffee, but I absolutely loved this & tried to recreate it at home later the same day. (with limited success 😅) I was very satisfied after that glorious sandwich & coffee, but I needed to try more, so I went for the Matcha Taro iced tea. Quality matcha with a deep, vivid flavor & a lovely taro cream. Since we have an obsessive need to try as many places as possible, it's unusual for us to return to an establishment, but this one made it to the go-to list of cafés.

Mon café préféré de tous les temps. Un menu absolument délicieux, autant au niveau de la nourriture que des breuvages. J'ai goûté à une quinzaine des items sur leur menu dans la dernière année & chaque découverte est un nouveau coup de coeur. On y retrouve autant des classiques de la cuisine vietnamienne (meilleur bahn mi en ville) que des inventions aussi étonnantes que savoureuses (je pense notamment aux nombreux cas de fusions italo-vietnamiennes). De nouveaux ajouts saisonniers se font régulièrement, on n'a pas le temps de s'ennuyer. Décor mignon & soigné. Mais le réel joyau de ce café est sa propriétaire, Bê, & l'ensemble de l'équipe. Vous ne trouverez nulle part ailleurs un accueil aussi chaleureux & personnel. Bê retient le nom & prend le temps de nouer des liens avec tout le monde qui passe par là. Plus qu'un café, le Bêden est un réel lieu de communauté & de rassemblement, où on se sent comme chez soi.
BEDEN Caphe is gr8t place to be at " Le petit Laurier" neighborhood. They have great coffee, buble tea, sandwich's, soups & desserts that is derived from the strong roots of Vietnamese culture. The owner Diane & her staff team are very welcoming & make sure to feel you part of the family. Side story: this place used to be a traditional Vietnamese restaurant back then that was founded by Diane's mother & she still around helping out. The place is very artsy & you feel being part of the community. I would recommend it to anyone who is curious & willing to give it a try. ☝️ 🙏 😋 👍 ❤️
Café situé au bout de l'avenue Laurier (croisement Papineau) celui-ci vous invite dans l'univers d'un coffee shop vietnamien. Préparez vous à y déguster des caphés & d'autres breuvages tout aussi surprenants que délicieux. Mais ce n'est pas tout, la gérante, Be est forte d'une expérience de 20 ans dans la restauration. Elle & son équipe sauront vous concocter des mets délicieux de la gastronomie vietnamienne (best banh mi in town) mais pas que (mention spéciale pour sa poutine à la la patate douce) Ce café est ce qu'est la Tour Eiffel à Paris: Un indispensable dans la vie de quartier de Laurier.
Oh wow ! I had such an amazing experience here. The young lady that helped me is from Vietnam & I remember just getting the best service while there. The banhi mi with patè was absolutely amazing & I really loved my matcha with condensed coconut milk. Highly recommend coming here. Also the decor is cute, & it was it not crowded when I went.

This place is simply amazing! Once you enter the café, you are transported to a tastefully decorated café with the sweetest owner. We fell in love with the book wall & piano corner. The owner actually takes the time to explain everything if you are indecisive like us! She truly cares about her customers & makes us very welcomed! The food & drinks are amazing, innovating, & just delicious! No wonder they have so many regular customers, I would go every day if I lived close by. A must try is their croissant banh mi, a nice twist to the classic banh mi, it's original & works perfectly! The pâté so is a must! Trust me! Their drink selections is getting bigger & bigger with the mastermind (owner) behind them who keeps coming up with new ideas, we love that! Vietname coffee with condensed milk is a must, reminds us of Vietnam itself! A true gem on Laurier. You go for the drinks/food, stay for the lovely owner who wil become your new bestfriend!
Okay... I grew up around Vietnamese food & I visited Vietnam back in 2018. Imagine my excitement when I discovered this newly opened Vietnamese cafe this year! I only had an egg coffee which was delicious! My friend ordered the banh-mi & he said it is better than his favourite Vietnamese banh-mi place at jean-talon. The food is close to authentic, so I'm over the moon. It's a bit far from where Iive, so I can't come often. Whenever I pass by this neighborhood, I'll definitely stop by this place to grab something to eat.
Wonderful coffee, friendly service & cute ambiance. For drinks, I highly recommend the Vietnamese coffee or, if you have an extra large sweet tooth, the egg coffee in particular. Food is very well priced for the area & the portions are generous too! Great sandwiches & soups, although I've yet to try the pastries. There's no WiFi so you can't work from the cafe currently which is a shame as I'd love to spend more time there but it just means you have to socialize to pass the time instead. & there's always room for a friend with their spacious seating! Highly recommended. Edit: WiFi is now available & I see lots of people working at the tables during the day.
