Whether it’s our legendary ribs or our tender steaks, we do not compromise on taste: all of our meals are prepared on site and are made only of high-quality ingredients.
Across many experiences, patrons describe Bâton Rouge as a dependable spot with generous portions and solid options, especially ribs and steaks. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff consistently friendly and attentive, with managers often noted for checking in and making guests feel welcome. Reviews highlight fast service, good value for the price, and reliable dishes ranging from burgers to seafood to pasta, plus desserts and cocktails that many enjoy. There are occasional drawbacks noted by a few guests, including meals arriving cold, dishes not as flavorful as hoped, or higher prices for what is offered. Some locations can be busier or louder, and a handful of items receive mixed opinions about seasoning or preparation. Overall, the sentiment leans positive, with most visitors happy to return and to celebrate occasions, citing consistency and a welcoming environment. This makes Bâton Rouge a preferred choice for family meals, casual dinners, or business gatherings.
Léna was fantastic during our visit! Her friendly demeanor & attentive service made our dining experience delightful. She offered great menu suggestions & ensured we had everything we needed. Overall, her warmth & professionalism truly enhanced our meal!
She gave us a choice of table which was nice but then just left & did not return or give us menus.
A young male waiter came to us & asked if we were given menus & we said no & he said he would take care of us. (He did)
My steak was redder the more I got to the middle but the outside of the steak was medium rare, as requested..
The Carrots were hard,.(had trouble putting fork in it) & they were not very well cooked.
My husband's steak was too rare, so he sent it back.
It was better when it came back, but it was still not as cooked as he liked his steak. He did not send it back a second because it would have taken too long & I would have been finished my meal.
I was not very impressed with the co-ed bathroom. This location was new & they had the opportunity to not have this feature. Needless to say, there were some noises I really preferred to not hear.
My husband said the food was just good. Although, he liked his Garlic Mashed but thought it could have had a bit more Garlic.
I had the Cinnamon Bun for dessert. Sadly, the bun was not as big & there was not very much icing or pecans as the one I had Downtown.
Waiter was so nice & gave us great service.
We tipped him more than enough because he tried to make up for the shortfalls.

I've been going to the Lasalle Baton Rouge location for my birthday for around 2 years. It's worth going & trying their legendary ribs coated in their BBQ sauce.
Food: spinach dip tasted like it was microwave scrap…
Service: nice staff however didnt really care when we voiced that the food was not up to BR standards.
Atmosphere: clean new resto, but nobody inside.
