Nous y allions spécifiquement ce midi pour le fish & chips. Belles pièces de longe de morue, cuites à la perfection mais avec un enrobage à base de panko & non de pâte à la bière comme nous le préférons, style pub irlandais. Portion de sauce tartare insuffisante. La soupe (incluse à 23$) était superbe. Le service excellent, le décor agréable & la musique un peu trop « disco » pour le midi.
Peut-être y retourner pour essayer le burger?
She gave us a choice of table which was nice but then just left & did not return or give us menus.
A young male waiter came to us & asked if we were given menus & we said no & he said he would take care of us. (He did)
My steak was redder the more I got to the middle but the outside of the steak was medium rare, as requested..
The Carrots were hard,.(had trouble putting fork in it) & they were not very well cooked.
My husband's steak was too rare, so he sent it back.
It was better when it came back, but it was still not as cooked as he liked his steak. He did not send it back a second because it would have taken too long & I would have been finished my meal.
I was not very impressed with the co-ed bathroom. This location was new & they had the opportunity to not have this feature. Needless to say, there were some noises I really preferred to not hear.
My husband said the food was just good. Although, he liked his Garlic Mashed but thought it could have had a bit more Garlic.
I had the Cinnamon Bun for dessert. Sadly, the bun was not as big & there was not very much icing or pecans as the one I had Downtown.
Waiter was so nice & gave us great service.
We tipped him more than enough because he tried to make up for the shortfalls.

I've been going to the Lasalle Baton Rouge location for my birthday for around 2 years. It's worth going & trying their legendary ribs coated in their BBQ sauce.
Food: spinach dip tasted like it was microwave scrap…
Service: nice staff however didnt really care when we voiced that the food was not up to BR standards.
Atmosphere: clean new resto, but nobody inside.
We had dinner February 3,rd & had a rib order with potatoes. To our surprise they were cold when served. I didn't want to make a complain about it & ruin our outing. So sucked it up!
In addition one of us had a half rib rack & they gave us 5 or 6 ribs of 4 inches long, But charged us the price of full rack!! Never again BR!
Comparé aux autres franchises, rien à voir avec un vrai Bâton Rouge. On constate la cuisine transformée en cruising bar sur le party & on craint le repas qui s'en vient. Le steak de bonne qualité a été surexposé aux flammes & goûte uniquement la fumée. Des légumes trop cuits c'est pas bon mais ceux qui nous sont servis sont pratiquement crus & sans goût. Le boeuf braisé est très bon mais la pièce de viande comporte énormément de gras. Le potage parmentier est tiède & la soupe aux oignons goûte seulement la bière & le sel. Les patates pilées sont très bonnes. La patate fourrée toute garnie n'a absolument aucun goût. On regarde passer des cotes lèves pour les autres clients & on regrette amèrement d'avoir exploré autre choix. 1- BR Ville Mont-Royal 2- BR West Island 3- BR Laval 4- BR Complexe Desjardins 5- BR Québec & la margre d'erreur d'un a l'autre est très mince. J'encouragerai encore fortement ces établissements. Depuis le peu de temps que LaSalle est ouvert, j'ai pour la première fois un gros doute quant a la véracité du nombre abondant de commentaires positifs. Il y a une culture ?a cet établissement qui ne ment pas. Je suis désolé de devoir dire ce qu'il en est. Si nous n'avons pas visité BR 50 fois depuis 1992 environ, je serais très surpris. Cette fois ci est la seule visite déficiente mais cette fois c'est peu dire.
Everyone at baton rouge lasalle is very pleasant & respectful. They are very accommodating. The manager MaryAnn is very nice i like that she goes around to each table & associates with the people. I find that excellent on a managers behalf & very important. Best thing they did was open in Lasalle. Thank you !!!
Had a great experience at Baton Rouge! The food was delicious & clearly made with quality ingredients. What really stood out were the portions, they were very generous & definitely worth the price. You really get good value for what you pay, & everything was filling & satisfying. I'd definitely come back & recommend it to anyone looking for great food & solid portions
