Après avoir eu une expérience culinaire remarquable au restaurant Nikkei, je m'attendais à être aussi impressionné en visitant le Barranco, sachant que le restaurant appartient au même groupe. Ce fut malheureusement décevant. Les plats étaient bien présentés, mais peu goûteux & froids pour certains. Le service était lent, mais sympathique. First time trying Peruvian cuisine, we loved the experience overall. Ceviche was definitely a must try, a classic Peruvian food. It was nice, good but not excellent, therefore I would say 4/5 for food, yet I & my sister enjoyed the meal, services & vibe, therefore we would give 5 stars in general.View more

😢 Expensive for a Terrible Service 😢 My mum is visiting me from Mexico for a week, so we are trying to plan our dinners very carefully. On July 22nd, 2024 we were served by a waitress named Daria (I hope I remember the name correctly. She was a 20s-30s young lady, with a bit red hair, & she didn't speak Spanish). The atmosphere was great - the management did a great job! Although the portions appeared small for the price, & mine was a bit oversalted - the food could be rated as Ok. As for the service: After getting the bill, we left the money (cash) on the table with significant tips. As we were leaving the restaurant, a few steps away from the table, we were stopped by our waitress with the question "Have you paid?". I want to make it very clear: she didn't ask if we need a credit card machine. She asked if we had paid. 3 meters away from our table with cash on it. My mum is a 55+ years respectable woman. We were devastated by the waitress's question & attitude. It was the first time I was ever asked this question. If my mum were not there, I'd return to the table (3 meters away) & take the tips back. Instead, I chose to write a review here to prevent others from such experiences. To the owner of the restaurant: for the love of God, please consider additional training for the staff NOT to ruin customers' evenings. I don't know how this restaurant got 4.5 stars on Google, or how it accepts this behaviour of the staff, but the night was pretty much ruined for me & my mum :(View more

Super agréable repas, service & atmosphère. Nous avons profité de la terrasse. Nous avons découvert la cuisine péruvienne & ce n'est que partie remise! Causa de camarón pour moi & Causa de pulpo al olivo pour mon amie: ce plat à lui seul vaut le détour! Nous avons ensuite partagé le plat Salchipapa Asada: délicieux! Pour dessert, Luna Llena, une pavlova avec une crème pâtissière au maracuya & gelée de mangue. Super! Drinks sans alcool Mango Colada & El Mentiroso sublimes & bien frais! Serveuses gentilles & qui expliquent bien le menu & l'esprit du restaurant! Honnêtement, une belle surprise!View more

Very good experience. 4.5 stars. Overall the food was great, not 5 stars, but more than 4 definitely. For example, I found pork belly tacos too dry. But all other choices we tried were really good. They don't cheap on drinks, also they have a very large drink menu. Service was good, but I found the environment too loud, especially for the summer time because it's placed on a very busy street with an open patio, terrace, so the music, people chatting, traffic create a lot of noise. Will I recommend it? Yes. But be aware it's a Peruvian urban cuisine, a fusion, if you tried a real one before. Will visit it again.View more

Our server was very attentive & helpful with explaining items on the menu & making recommendations & the atmosphere is great too! We will definitely be back. J'ai demandé une suggestion pour le repas & il ne s'est pas seulement contenté de me dire que tout est bon ici. Il nous a guidé dans le menu avec aplomb.
