Wow!!!! I am so glad that this was our last dinner in Montreal because we would have compared every other to it & would have been disappointed. It was absolutely nothing short of AMAZING! The drinks....best we had the entire time here.....the service was completely on point, friendly, efficient, & the place was busy. We started with sharing Solterito & it was so fresh, well-balanced, & light. My daughter got the ceviche rocoto & I got the anticucho de Pollo....both ridiculously flavorful. I wish I could have ordered one of everything on that menu...seriously. We shared the passion fruit cheesecake & it was perfect. I do not have a single bad thing to say. If you have the chance...go! I absolutely promise you will not be disappointed.View more

Really impressed with everything here. We came late last night & the host/manager/& server were accommodating allowing us to sit & enjoy a quick bite as they closed. Our server took extra time with us explaining the origin of some of the dishes (where the names came from) in Peru, even though they were busy closing. That is hospitality. Great spot in Montreal for food! We got tacos, octopus, & civeche.
We found there were too many potatoes with the octopus & too much lime in the Ceviche. Tacos were great, drinks were great. Dessert was also amazing.View more

Absolutely loved this place! The drinks were delicious & perfectly balanced. The food was just as impressive-especially the Jarey D'Agnon, which was full of flavor & beautifully presented. The team was incredibly friendly & professional, creating a warm & welcoming atmosphere. Price-wise, everything felt reasonable & made sense for the quality. The vibe of the place was fun. A bit on the loud side but was still enjoyable to talk with friends.
The staff was very dedicated to accomodate the meal to my dietary restrictions.
I didn't get to try a lot but everything was tasty.

Amazing food & drinks, been multiples times & never been disappointed. The lomo saltado, salchipapas asado, yuca fries, & the seafood rice are all amazing. Would recommend the pisco sour or any other of their speciality cocktails & also the chicha morada which is amazing. Definitely recommend!View more

Warm welcome, delicious drinks, & a perfectly balanced ceviche? Couldn't ask for more any night of the week. Cocktail menu spans from a sweet tooth through to the dryer of pallets. Variety of enticing menu items is plentiful & the portions were satisfying. A couple of fun hours we will be sure to repeat.View more

Really good restaurant & food! Too bad the service wasn't as good: we ordered a cheesecake dessert & it took 30 minutes for them to tell us it wasn't even in stock. Hopefully this improves next time I return & they offer more sugarless soft drink optionsView more

Yummy food, yummy drinks, good ambience. Perfect to celebrate a special occasion. My fav are the causa de pulpo & the ceviche rocotto. Only thing I don't agree with is that the minimum amount for tip is 18% not 15% & the service is just fine, nothing special, not worth tipping 30$ like we did.View more

Food was fantastic, as well as cocktails, but there are two things that could be worked on: Mtlatable menu was nowhere to be found, despite the event still running & being advertised, & also the service was having not the best day - it took a while to get to order drinks, even more to order food. Maybe they were understaffed last night, hopefully next time it won't take almost an hour to get a drinkView more

I was at Barranco restaurant with my friend last night to celebrate my 40ths birthday. I heard all good things about this place & I certainly confirmed it is very good, the food was amazing, the atmosphere was nice, the service was acceptable just a little too rushy rushy & rude at the moment we arrived but overall very good. The manager came to my table & we spoke with the her, I forgot her name but she was very friendly & gave us a lot of information about this place & the other 4 restaurants that Barrano is affiliated with :) Bravo guys!!! The drinks were very good...very close like being in Peru. I am Peruvian & love places that really make me feel at home & treat me well. Everything went well, a negative note is the first server at first was a bit rude because we told her to talk to us in English & change with her colleague, I understand we are in QC but if i want to be served in English I have the right to do so. It would of been wonderful to have the service in Spanish & then I would of felt like being in Peru. The second server was very nice, gorgeous nails & beautiful make up, she looked like a doll. At first again her approach was a little tough/rude but she warm up little by little...after we talked to her. I will not take a star away from this review because the food & everything went well afterwards....maybe the other girl was having a bad day or hate English any ways it happens some people just hate what they do! Overall owners of Barranco Bravo for a wonderful place where i will enjoy eating more often & bring a lot of people that love Peruvian food. Gracias Totales!View more

It was my second time at Barranco. I am very satisfied of this tapas style Peruvian food. Would definitely recommend as they have an amazing twist on traditional peruvian dishes.
