À trois amis, nous avons eu la chance d'être accueillis un lundi soir. Malgré une réservation de dernière minute, toute l'équipe a fait preuve d'un grand professionnalisme & a pris le temps de s'occuper de nous du début à la fin.
Un menu dégustation à 90 $ déjà exceptionnel, monter à 110$ pour notre propre plaisir & nous ne regrettons rien.
Ce qui m'a le plus marqué, c'est qu'il n'y avait souvent que trois ingrédients par assiette, mais chacun cachait un travail immense. Rien n'était'simple' : chaque élément était infusé, beurré, assaisonné, grillé, fumé, mariné, monté, torréfié.

Oh what a wonderful experience we all had. We didnt know what to expect & opted for the chef's choice menu. Wow! Each dish was presented so beautifully. You think it won't be enough but it is we left FULL & soooo satisfied! Each plate was flavorful (big shout out the saucier) beautifully plating where every bite was just magical!
& service was perfect!

Une découverte extraordinaire dans notre quartier. La nourriture était excellente de l'entrée au dessert. Nous avons opté pour la formule où le resto choisit pour nous, & chaque plat était une réussite totale : les saveurs & la présentation étaient au rendez-vous. Un immense merci à Laurence, dont le service attentionné a fait de notre soirée un moment magique. On revient très bientôt, c'est certain !

Great experience. Friendly service, wonderful food. We did the'chefs choice' menu, they were very accommodating. One of us was vegetarian, one shellfish & avacado allergy. They came & checked a few ingredients with us. Oh, & great cocktails!
I visited St Denis hoping to have something to eat, but I was denied entry because I was told the venue was full. From what I could see, there were empty tables without reserved signs. The receptionist spoke to me in a manner that I found rude & disrespectful. The interaction left me with the impression that I was being treated differently, & I left very disappointed with the customer service.

I had a disappointing experience at St Denis. I wanted to enter the bar to have something to eat, but the receptionist refused to let me in, saying the place was full. However, I felt that the situation could have been handled more professionally & politely. Unfortunately, I left feeling unwelcome.
I have really mixed feelings about Bar St Denis. I went once before & found the menu very veggie-forward, but my second visit was a little bit frustrating. Even though I obviously know it's not a restaurant known for vegetarian food, I expect a place in this price range to go through reservation notes before service.
Despite explicitly leaving a note that I am vegan, there wasn't a single vegetarian(!) main dish on the menu, & barely any veggie starters. The kitchen wasn't able to accommodate or modify anything either. As a vegan, I am always willing to be flexible when dining out, but there wasn't even a basic plant-friendly alternative. On top of that, we found the sommelier to be pretty unhelpful when we were trying to select drinks.
That being said, the atmosphere is super nice & the rest of the staff was very friendly. We sat at the bar & still managed to have a great time & enjoy good service, but the lack of inclusivity & attention to detail for the price is a major letdown.

The staff were incredibly hospitable, & the service was attentive without ever feeling rushed. Our server was both knowledgeable & friendly, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. The warm ambiance of the restaurant perfectly complements the incredible meal you're about to enjoy.
Every dish we ordered was absolutely delectable, but the uni pasta was particularly memorable & easily the standout of the evening.
