Terrible, overpriced cocktails. I ordered a Manhattan, & what I got was a glass filled with ice, garnished with an old-fashioned-style orange peel, with some sort of liquid that I would never have identified as rye & vermouth. & charged $18 for it. Both the worst, & the most expensive Manhattan I've ever had (& I've ordered them in what is easily close to a hundred different bars). Service was decent, though, & the atmosphere seems nice, but the layout makes it so even a moderate crowd makes it hard to move around.
First impression is everything & walking into this place with that nice male bartender who look like Timothy Chalamet smiling is everything. Bartender Jasmine is magnificent. Imagine a busy environment & she still manages to make drinks for customers & engages with you. That's what every bar should be. Kitchen closes at 10 but expresso martini & pesco sour were delicious. Hope they take my recommendation to change the bar name to Verdun Rouge to match the vibe & color 😉

We didn't eat so I can't speak for the food. The service was only in french but I managed, & the place smelled like those little urinal targets when we first arrived, but they seem to use incense to hide the smell when they should really just put up a door separating the washroom from the bar.
Le Bar Social est une perle. Un coup de coeur. Je m'y retrouve fréquemment le vendredi soir avec mes amies. Nous avons toujours beaucoup de plaisirs. La djette est excellente. Définitivement la meilleure dj en ville. On danse toute la soirée!
J'aime bien ce bar; l'ambiance est agréable; cependant j'étais bien déçu du menu lorsque j'y suis retourné samedi dernier. C'est pour le menu entrées; auparavant il y avait de très bonnes entrées genre pain pita avec houmous, chou-fleur pané & autres, mais là, le menu a changé, aucune entrée vraiment intéressante. On a tout de même pris les batônnets au fromage mais ce n'était pas mangeable & la façon que c'était présenté laissait bcp à désirer.
Je ne parlerai pas du reste du menu car je ne l'ai pas essayé.

I used the bar as the set for a short film I was producing, & the ambiance was absolutely perfect. The staff were incredibly polite, understanding, & accommodating throughout the process. I had visited the bar before filming & I can say the food was also great.
Drinks are nice & fairly priced. Bar staff was very helpful. However, the DJ we had on the January 25th did not know what he was doing & was rude to us. We left early because his playlist made no sense & was hard to dance to
I came here for a few drinks & music listening. I wasn't that disappointed. The staff was nice, & the drinks weren't outlandishly expensive. So that's always a plus. I won't lie; the bathrooms were full of pee (I guess what would you expect, but not on the ground). People are animals, so I can't blame the bar; I'm just mentioning it. Definitely a few weirdos there too. Once again, not the bar's fault. Overall, I'd go back if I'm in the area.

Pour ma part, depuis un moment je suis client j'étais toujours satisfait jusqu'au jour le barman m'a obligé de donner un TIPS , j'ai trouvé que le fait qu'il me le demande très impoli & encore je ne suis pas obligé de donner du TIPS sachant que au premier service que j'ai recu j'ai donner , a revoir ces méthodes mais ca reste que une seule personne ne peut pas gâcher tout un endroit
Le menu est excellent ! Je viens de goûter leur sous-marin & je dois dire que c'est l'un des meilleurs que j'ai mangés. Il offre un parfait équilibre entre la viande & les légumes, & le pain était juste parfait. La vinaigrette (servie à côté) ajoute une balance parfaite de saveurs. This is my go to bar. Great music, decent prices, but the best part of Social are the bartenders. They're so nice & fast! They have karaoke nights too! Go check it out!

J'y retournerai peut-être pour boire un verre mais pas pour y manger. Mon plat (pot pie aux champignons) était malheureusement sans saveur. Le service est très bon par contre & le cadre est joli. En revanche il est très difficile d'entretenir une conversation avec une musique aussi forte. Je ne comprends pas pourquoi on ne peut pas s'entendre parler dans un bar qui s'appelle "le Social".
Ça fait 3 fois que je viens au bar social. L'endroit est chouette, mais le service est inexplicablement lent à chaque fois. J'y reviens, on avait envie d'une petite froide de fin de soirée: on s'est annoncé, on s'est installé sur la terrasse: le bar était à 20% de sa capacité. Les serveurs jasaient appuyés sur le bar. Après plusieurs minutes, aucun n'avait bougé. On est allés au Palco.
Le bar Social est un vrai joyau qui sait jongler entre l'ambiance de bureau en début de soirée & la fête animée en fin de nuit. Le jeu "Shut the Box" ajoute une dose de fun, accompagnée par une variété de shooters qui ne laissent pas indifférent. Les incontournables "b-crâne", créés par un maître du bar, sont une véritable expérience en soi. L'agencement intelligent & le personnel attentionné complètent parfaitement cette expérience 5 étoiles. Un lieu à ne pas manquer pour une soirée mémorable.
