As a self-proclaimed cocktail connoisseur, I've seen many bars open in this city. But Numéro has instantly claimed, in my opinion it's spot as one of the absolute best in Montréal. If you're looking for a very sophisticated, world-class experience in an intimate setting…this new place is it!
The Atmosphere & Vibe:
Numéro is a masterclass in mood. It's a small, sleek space with a unique, high-end atmosphere that feels exclusive without being pretentious. We booked for 9 PM on a Saturday, & the place was electric-completely packed with a stylish crowd. The warm, moody lighting & minimalist design make it the perfect spot for a date night or a deep catch-up with close friends.
The Cocktails:
The drink menu here is exceptional. Each cocktail is a work of art, both in flavor profile & presentation.
• Precision & Flair: (See the video!) Watching the bartenders work is half the experience. The level of technique, from the rhythmic shaking to the precise garnishing is top-tier. I highly recommend to sit at the bar.
• Innovative Flavors: We tried several drinks, & the balance of ingredients was flawless. Whether you like something refreshing & bright or deep & complex, the execution is impeccable.
Service:
What truly sets Numéro apart is the service. Despite the bar being at capacity, the staff remained incredibly friendly & attentive. I really loved all the high-end touches. You are well taken care of from the moment you walk through the door.
I am looking forward to returning soon like ASAP! Thank you Numéro for a great evening out 🙌🏻
Casual & curated snacks, effortlessly cool vibe, genuine service, but they really shined with unreal cocktails - as a very nerdy bartender this place is SPOT ON with what's up a coming with cocktail science in the most unique & in pretentious way. If I lived here this would be a go-to spot for me. 11/10.

I had such an incredible experience at this bar that I had to leave a review, even though I never write them. The vibes were amazing from the moment I walked in. Alex, the bartender, is truly exceptional. His attention to detail is on another level. My martini glass was already half?drank, & he still took the time to switch it into a perfectly chilled glass without me even asking. I work in the service industry & I've never had service like that. Absolutely outstanding. I'll definitely be back!
Numero should be called Numero 1!!! All jokes aside, this bar is very promising. As the co-owner of a cocktail page & amateur bartender (but professional drinker), I can whole-heartedly say that Numero has great potential to become a forerunner in mixology in Canada. Bringing us a cocktail list that we rarely see in the city, with avant-garde drinks & fresh innovation! Huge s/o to the team: Alex, Akash, Action Jackson, Kayila! I could be biased, but check it for yourself, they will treat you like friends, family & distinguished individuals.
One of the best new bars in the city. With a focus on bartenders & their craft this minimalist bar with a sleek stainless steel bar top is a hidden gem & worth the trip! Great staff with a great menu (the matcha drink is incredible!).
Went to Bar Numéro & the drinks & vibes were amazing. Kalila, our bartender, was fantastic, & Sarah gave us so many great recommendations she was incredibly sweet. Unfortunately, our experience was slightly dampened by Antoine, who came off as rude & made us uncomfortable.

Our favorite bar of the trip. A perfectly chill ambiance inside with a comfortable bar setup & a great drink menu. Kalila was an incredible bartender, very friendly & made great cocktails. My favorites being Biscuit Matcha & the Tommy Biscoff. The vibe here was great & would highly recommend the visit.
Heard about this new bar called Numero & decided to check it out. Let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint. The drinks are next-level amazing.
But the real star of the show was bartender, Akash. That guy is the best! So cool to talk to & he really took care of me. Felt like we were just hanging out at a friend's super fancy home bar.
Seriously, the whole night was perfect. 1 million out of 10, no notes. You gotta go.
Here's a sure bet: Numero will absolutely be a part of top 50 lists, & become one of Montreal's premiere cocktail bars. Just give them a little time...2025 guides are already out, & as of this review, Numero has only been serving for 2 weeks!
This is not wild exaggeration. If you've had the pleasure to explore some internationally buzzed about bars, the distinction could not be clearer: from first sip, the DNA of their drinks exude class, confidence, & quiet sophistication, with flavours & ingredients so dialed in, you'd think this was their hundredth menu.
The space is comfortable & lit beautifully, hues tuned to a sultry perpetual sunset, but it was especially warm in the care of bartenders Akash & Kalila. Engaging & welcoming, their care, refinement, & skill in both mixing & hosting were palpable; thank you both for such a fantastic evening! As such, I cannot recommend bar seating enough for the closest & fullest experience.
I could go on & on. Suffice to say, we were blown away: it is rare to find cocktails so gourmand, we closed our eyes to luxuriate in the subtleties like a fine wine. These creations are not content to impress with a quick hit of satisfaction, but truly evolve on the nose & tongue.
Our biggest regret this trip to Montreal was discovering this perfection on our final day. Give them a visit, & I think you'll agree! We'd wish them every success, but we don't need to; with this space, this team, & this brazen creativity, Numero's success is assured!
