Cute bar with a beautifully renovated interior. Good location & great service. Love the old school phone mounted to the wall & loved hearing it ring. Didn’t try the food but the Albert cocktail was great! Their beer options are a bit disappointing if you’re with someone looking for a beer over a glass of wine or cocktail, but they had some interesting (albeit pricy) options in addition to the standard beer on tap. In brief the service was poor, the food average & the price very high. We wanted to order wine by the glass. The wine list does not include wine by the glass & we had to wait for a waiter to describe what was available. The verbal recommendations were not explicit enough but we got tired of asking follow-up questions. Even when we asked for the price of the wine the response was vague, he gave us a price range. We also ordered a gravlax as a snack. It was brought without napkins nor utensils. We could not get a waiter’s attention & had to get up & get the napkins & utensils ourselves. The gravlax was mediocre. Our wines ended up being $17 each plus tax & tip. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience.Voir plus
