J'aurais vraiment voulu adoré le bar George mais je suis rester sur ma faim.
L'endroit en soi est magnifique, l'ambiance est bonne. J'avais cependant des attentes envers la nourriture qui n'ont pas été atteintes. Nous avons prit le tomahawk & la viande était hyper dure. Nos avions même de la difficulté à le couper. Les à côtés étaient correcte mais sans plus. Les pâtes, la salade de betterave & le poisson étaient bien.
J'ai l'impression qu'ils s'assoient un peu sur le fait qu'ils ont un bel endroit mais ne poussent pas assez la qualité des produits offerts & pour le prix chargé ils devraient.
Peut être avons nous eu une malchance car je vois que la plupart des gens semblent vraiment apprécier.
Beautiful interior is the biggest selling point in my opinion. Food is also delicious; we had beef willing ton & lobster risotto. The price was just a bit too much for what it is.
Super nice place if not crowded, very helpful for a date &/or first date. Super expensive but the food is good . Avoid the burger, did not like it but the others are good. The terrace is good but less good then indoor decorations. Fun fact , if you go inside on your way to the bathroom, you will photo of old owners ...... Like back to 1800 , I'm curious to get your feedback:)))))
Make sure to thoroughly wash the teapot before serving it again, as I noticed leftover tea leaves & stains even after they changed the water.
Also, when I ordered a dish for takeaway, I was surprised to find out that they don't provide any cutlery-no plastic or wooden options-which is quite unusual for a restaurant.
These details, along with the lukewarm service & the chipped teapot handle, made the experience fall below my expectations. I hope they take these points into consideration to enhance their customer experience.
