Bar George is in a great space & has great food to boost. I think this was our most expensive meal in Montreal, but my wife loved the lobster risotto. My steak was amazing as well. Drinks were great & waitstaff was friendly. A great visit!

Expérience agréable ! La nourriture était raffinée & les plats assez copieux. Bon rapport qualité/prix. Le serveur était à l'écoute & a offert un excellent service. Cela dit, je suis obligée de retirer une étoile puisque l'hôtesse était assez désagréable. On a du attendre assez longtemps pour avoir une table. Si on n'avait pas interpellé l'hôtesse, elle nous aurait probablement oublié. De plus, durant le souper, elle nous a reproché le fait d'utiliser les salles de bain du restaurant & nous a obligé à utiliser celles de l'hôtel. Un comportement assez maladroit... Cela étant dit, mis à part cet accrochage, l'expérience fut agréable.

I had an exceptional dining experience. The atmosphere is simply awesome, with a perfect blend of historic charm & modern elegance. The service was amazing-attentive, friendly, & professional from start to finish. I tried the beef wellington, & it was absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection & full of flavour. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable meal in a fantastic setting!
