Arrived in Montreal last night & went to Bar Furco. Food was quite good & the service was amazing. The bartender Kennedy did a great job of engaging with us & gave us tips about Montreal & kept the drinks flowing & recommended some really great dishes. Their new salad is awesome & I enjoyed the lobster pasta.

Premièrement, je dois mentionner que tout était absolument délicieux! & très abordable. Un excellent rapport qualité-prix.

Par contre, ce fut une expérience atroce.

Nous avions réservé assez tôt pour 17h30 puisque nous avions un engagement à 20h. Après 1h30, aucune nourriture n'avait été reçue. Étant le seul groupe sur la terrasse on semblait nous avoir oublié. J'ai donc demandé de payer la facture dès la réception des entrées pour accélérer le tout. Erreur fatale, nous avons été complètement délaissé ensuite. Il fallu une autre heure avant de recevoir les plats, malgré plusieurs tentatives de communication à la serveuse & au gérant, qui nous ont blâmé tout le long. Aucune prise d'action ou de responsabilité.

Vraiment un des pires services que j'ai reçu. La serveuse nous fumait sa clope dessus pendant que nous manquions notre spectacle après 2h30 d'attente. À éviter.

Vraiment meilleur bar de Montréal si on aime les ambiances Afro, hip-hop le week-end. Pas besoin de se prend la tête, si t'as du temps libre en soirée, tu lèves, tu y vas & tu es certain de passer une bonne soirée. Très bien situé pas loin du quartier des spectacles, le cadre est propre & bien de coté, l'entrée est gratuite & les verres à un prix décent. Une valeur sûre depuis des années.

Very rude bouncers. Me & my friends are a group of South asians coming from Toronto. Felt like visible discrimination considering they let at least 30 other people in before I had to beg for us to go in.

We had such an amazing experience 🤍
The fries were absolutely delicious, especially with the homemade mayo. We also tried the squash leaves, a beautiful charcuterie board, the turike steak, & a fresh, flavorful petone ceviche - every dish was incredible. The drinks were also amazing & paired perfectly with the whole experience.

I really loved the vibe of the place: cozy, relaxed, & full of good energy. On top of that, everyone was so kind & welcoming throughout the night. Definitely a spot worth coming back to ✨
