This bar is really out of this world!
The classic Italian diner aesthetic pulled us in from the street. Like the inescapable draw of a black hole, we couldn't resist. We imbibed on Negronis, infused with flavor that left us awestruck. Not to mention, our server, Elliot, treated us with the utmost respect & speed that could rival the Millenium Falcon (the ship that ran the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs).
For a truly magnificent evening, you should wish on your next shooting star that you come to Bar Bello! 👨?🚀💫

In a neighborhood far, far away (Little Italy), a weary smuggler can find respite in this cantina. But you won't find a wretched hive of scum & villainy here - the service is superb & between the menu of classics, the extensive amaro collection, & the small bites, there's something for everyone. Apparently droids are allowed in, because the infamous Negroni machine is the heart of the operation. Get a coin from the bartender & pick from 7 house-bottled Negroni riffs to enjoy. I look forward to stopping by again on my next visit to this galaxy.

When you walk in the staff greets you with a very loud'Bonjour' that startles you, didn't like it at all .It's listed as a cocktail bar but there are very limited options. We could hardly understand the menu & the staff couldn't come around to help. They just handed us the menus & left us for a good while. We ended up leaving without ordering anything. Can't speak for the quality of the drinks or food, but the service was not it.

July 2026: great cocktails still, friendly service, still Piedmont.
Came here again for a Negroni event & it was perfect. Stayed for drinks from the Piedmont menu, & snacks, everything was good.
2026: service was much better this time, our female server was super attentive. I enjoyed the Liguria-inspired coffee cocktail.
2025: Live music & decor were fun.
Had the Ossiola sour (nicely presented) & the Tiramisu cocktail. Both were alright.
Service was friendly but inattentive, we sat down & no one would look our way for twenty minutes so we went up to the bar. If it's just that type of place, just let people know when they come in. Once we ordered, we got our drinks at the table within good time.

Overall a very whatever experience. My cocktail was fine - nothing I'll remember - but the service was very mediocre. They also couldn't make a gin (rather than vodka) martini because they pre-batch the cocktails…that's not a real cocktail bar. Given all the great things I've heard about this spot, I was very surprised by how mid the entire experience was.

Bar Bello is a beautiful spot on Saint Laurent for an aperitivo before dinner or a digestivo to end the evening. The stylish Italian decor, with its gorgeous bar & cozy seating, creates a warm, authentic atmosphere. The Negronis are outstanding, & the delicious Italian bites are perfect to share. Friendly service & a great vibe make this a place you'll want to come back to. Cheers! 🍸🇮🇹

Inspired by Classic Italian cocktail bar culture, Bar Bello brings a slice of Italian hospitality to Montreal, Northern Italian style. High energy staff, extremely friendly vibes, exceptional hospitality, & perfectly executed drinks. The mortadella hot dog is genius, I forgot my drink order, it was a special menu but it was expertly executed & was delightful. Bar Bello feels like a Northern Italian sister bar to Bar Leone in HK but you don't need to travel to the other side of the planet to enjoy it if you're North American. Bar Bello is a must visit for anyone seeking Italian Charm & fantastically executed drinks & fantastic.

Very fun cocktail bar to go to. I sat at the bar & had an amazing time with the bartender, Sullivan, who made me one of the best cocktails I've ever had in my entire life: Fumo Di Vigna. It's on the menu so... ORDER IT. It's that good.

There's an undeniable warmth to Bar Bello that makes you fall in love with the place almost instantly. There's no pretention here. The staff is just super cool & it made my time there memorable.

I will return here. I cannot overstate how much I enjoyed the Fumo Di Vigna drink. Thank you, Sullivan. Thank you, Bar Bello.

Belle salle à manger, nous sommes venus un mardi & le bar était calme, c'était l'ambiance qu'on recherchait. Les cocktails étaient très bons! Nous voulions en commander d'autres, mais le serveur n'est jamais revenu nous voir, malgré que le bar n'était pas achalandé . Nous avons attendu 30min avec nos verres vides, puis finalement nous sommes partis.
