C'était l'un de mes bars préférés pour aller boire un coup mais depuis l'arrivée du nouveau serveur barbu John ou je sais plus comment il s'appelle & son attitude au bar je n'y vais plus ou rarement surtout après une expérience très désagréable lors d'une commande avec lui. Certainement je ne fais pas payer pour être mal servi, voire pas respecté.
PS : le reste du staff, ils ont toujours été tous au top jamais eu du problème au contraire. Très bonne ambiance & bienveillance.

When I visited Montréal & found this place I was in love. Amazing atmosphere, good music, & played unique movies on a old school round screen.

Now that I moved here thing have changed. Music is good but that's about it. All the TV screens plays the same AI video with random ads (cant afford the one Youtube premium subscription apparently).

If you are looking to meet new people then forget it. Couples & Throuples fill the bar instead of tables so there is no where to sit & meet people, you know, at the bar.

Ps: agree with the other poster that there is plenty negatives to this place but bias for french is wrong. I speak only english & the staff would help me on my french.

Maybe there complaint was because as a couple they went to the bar instead of the table & where very annoying about it. I would pay extra to kick people like that off the bar!

L'un des bars les plus agréables de Montréal ; les bières sont bonnes (celle que je préfère est la Saint Ambroise), la musique pas trop forte & l'ambiance (masculine) sympa ; l'un des seuls bars gays de MTL où on échappe à ces pénibles & proliférantes drag queens. Seul regret, qu'il n'y ait pas d'évènements spéciaux comme cela existe dans le bar de Toronto homonyme, qui organise - entre autres - des soirées naked particulièrement fréquentées.

Met some local here to hang out & shoot some pool. Overall service was great at the main bar. This is a split-level bar, with upstairs seating & multiple bar areas inside & out. I imagine during warmer months it can get pretty packed - on a random Sat afternoon it was busy but not hectic,
