We visit this restaurant periodically & with big family for the last 2 years.
We have always been satisfied honestly we love their dumplings with peanut sauce ... today it was an unpleasant experience ! We cannot explain why but food tasted bad (thai sweet & sour for example) we did not enjoy. We usually had fun reading the fortune cookies for the whole family, we discovered today that they are not offered anymore & we have to pay for them even though the bill was massive, they did not offer for the kids at least ... that's unfortunate ... I do not think it is worth the drive anymore ...Voir plus

Since the original owners finally took over the place it has been a treat to experience consistently good food from BKK. We take out at least once a week & eat in at least once a month. Great young staff very accommodating to a clientele that can often be difficult.Voir plus

SO YUMMY! I find it challenging to get good Thai food in Montreal, & this place made my year when I discovered it. Their lunch specials are delicious & affordable. My favorite used to be beef & eggplant until they swapped that out & I tried the cashew tofu. Out of this world! The ambiance is great, they have a patio in the summertime & although it gets jampacked with people, the servers are always on top of their game. Highly recommend!Voir plus

Bangkok Express was such a surprise for me. I didn't think much of it every time I've been passed it. But I'm so, so glad that I've found it. I often find myself thinking about the food here, & it's been quite a while since I've visited.
The food was absolutely delicious. It has very authentic Thai flavors. The fish that I had was so, so good. It was slightly spicy, full of flavor, so soft & tender. I want to eat it again.
The service was very friendly & fast. The atmosphere gave more of a tropical bar type of vibe, but also very homey. It was nice.
Overall, I will 100% come back & I cannot wait.Voir plus

Always fresh, hot & ready to eat. The chicken was crispy enough without being overdone. Served with rice & stir fried with yummy veggies. I have also had the bass fish on previous occasions, which is so good....!!! Out server was great & had all explanations needed for my friend dining there for the first time. My boyfriend & I went last night & it was an amazing experience. For drinks I got the lychee martini, compared to other places this one was the best. My bf got the coconut water & it was sweet a refreshing. We ordered the duck app & sweet & sour wings. The duck was a little salty but still delicious. Wings had the perfect crunch & amount of sauce on them. We both ordered the pad Thai, would have given 5 stars but one of us got the wrong protein in our main dish & it came a little too early we still hadn't finished our appetizers. Nonetheless, service & food was amazing & i would recommend & will be returning !Voir plus

Bangkok Express one me over with their excellent & authenticallyThai green curry. The service is genuinely friendly & attentive, & the atmosphere is warm & comfortable. Unfortunately, the peanut chicken wasn't the best I've ever had & the garlic pepper chicken was much too sweet. Asked for chicken panang curry, got beef. Its was very chewy. Barely any beef too. 50% of the stew is huge onion slides, 30% is peppers, & 20% beef. & container was barely filled. The stew tastes ok though. But for 18$? Was still starving.Voir plus

We used to get take out from this place years ago & stopped when the food tasted "meh". After reading a positive local review recently, we decided to dine in last night. We were really impressed - the food was delicious, the service was super friendly & the atmosphere great. We will definitely add BKK back into to our Friday night take-out routine :)Voir plus
