Very nice restaurant, service is good, food is amazing! Lunch menu is diverse & well-priced.
Med Seabass with lemon potatoes was fantastic, Greek salad very fresh, & the owner is always present & look out for her guests.
I highly recommend this place for authentic, delicious Greek food!

As a guest of my investment advisor, his choice on restaurants are more risk free than parts of my portfolio.
Crowd viewing through the restaurants to rooms,I felt like it could have been like the audience at a reform synagogue on a Friday down.
Ushered to a primo table in the corner, my adviser ordered a plate of octopus & fried squid to go with a Greek salad. Both seafood plates were outstanding, fresh nicely spiced & invisibly battered in the case of the calamares & an output from the restaurants owner after years as the head chef at Milos. A beer(IPA) & a uniquely hot & tasty capuccino & too much talk on my part were the sundries to a wonderful enjoyable evening.
Definitely going back

This fabulous Greek restaurant has become a star in Westmount. The lunch menu is excellent - love the grilled octopus & it comes with choice of Greek salad or the soup of the day.

Great decor
I always have:
Greek or psikolomeni salad
Grilled calamari
Food is always well prepared, fresh, tasty
Staff is very attentive
Its my 20th+ time here, I m never disappointed
Owner is very nice & professional
Highly highly recommended

Great place to grab dinner in westmount.
Good menu with options to please varying taste.
Greek salad was delicious & copious.
Grilled mushrooms could have been more generous, but flavourful!
We had salmon, shrimp & chicken enjoyed by all.

If you follow me you know I love trying new restaurants.
I've only heard good things about Balos. Other reviewers were not wrong. The decor is beautiful & the greeting from the hostess was friendly with a big smile.
We were given a choice of window tables that had been reserved for us.
With a large variety of cuisine, it took some time to decide on what to order.
We started with 2 different salads that we shared between 4 adults; Horatio (classic Greek salad) & the Mixed Salad with Avocado. Both were delicious.
I ordered the Fried Calamari which was accompanied by steamed veggies & roasted Greek potatoes. The calamari was crispy on the outside & tender on the inside. The veggies were cooked to perfection & the potatoes were outstanding. My husband had the Grilled Chicken Fillets with also had the veggies & potatoes. The chicken breasts were well cooked yet remaining juicy on the inside. The other couple shared a whole Chilean Seabass with the same veggies & potatoes. They loved it. I found that the fish was very thin but looked very nice.
Wow! The portion sizes are really big, except for the fish, & everything was delicious. Really delicious.
Sorry, but there was no room for dessert.
Will I go back? Absolutely!

Amazing Greek food. From the salad to the lamb everything was incredibly flavourful & absolutely delicious. On the pricier side but worth it & they give really large portions.

We ordered the stuffed calamari, the crab cakes, & the lamb. The calamari was good but the crab cakes & lamb were amazing.

What they don't mention is that the kitchen is closed between 3 to 4 pm. It's getting ready for night shift . The salads are amazing , the main course is good but don't order the Salmon it's too greasy . Wines are good. I always feel good when the owner is involved & gives instructions to their staff while helping with the running of the place which was the case
