We are from Ontario & were staying in Laval this past weekend for a hockey tournament. My son had read that bagels in Quebec are better than Ontario, so we stopped at the Bagel Henri-Bourassa Express for lunch on Saturday. Our bagels were delicious, so we decided we would come back Sunday morning to bring some home for my husband & other children. While we were there that morning, we got chatting with some employees (I'm not sure if they were owners or not, they were setting up bagels to photograph) & it came up that we were from Ontario & had come back to pick up bagels to bring home. The cashier actually remembered our order from the day before. After we had bought our bagels, the man that was setting up the photos told us to pick out some extras to try & bring home for free! I thought it was such a kind gesture, & his recommendation to try to coconut bagel did not disappoint! If I find myself back in Laval, we'll stop in again for sure!
