About

BAB KECH specializes in authentic Moroccan culinary traditions, focusing on robust flavor profiles and traditional preparation techniques. The menu centers on fragrant tagines featuring slow-cooked meats and vegetables, balanced with aromatic blends of cinnamon, saffron, and ginger. Patrons encounter a variety of savory couscous dishes topped with meticulously seasoned chickpeas, raisins, and tender proteins. The kitchen utilizes preserved lemons and brined olives to provide the signature acidity essential to North African gastronomy. Decorative mosaic tiling and ornate metal lanterns define the physical environment, creating an immersive atmosphere that reflects deep regional influences. Every plate serves as a testament to spice-forward cooking, where complex layering of ingredients remains the primary objective. This establishment maintains a strict adherence to cultural cooking methods, prioritizing substance and historical accuracy in every serving of bread, stew, or grain.

Royal couscous is so delicious, a mix of mergaz, brisket-like meat & lemon-flavored chicken. Add your favorite toppings as almond or caramelized raisins to enjoy a bowl with rich tasty flavors. Chef Shams is friendly & was pleasant to talk to. This is not an independent restaurant, but located in a food court. If you're into couscous, go for it!
