Had an excellent experience at Baan Lao! Food was delicious & service is good too. Ordered the combo for 4 & highly satisfied with all the dishes. Meats were cooked perfectly, flavors were balanced & overall presentation is beautiful as well. Staff was very accommodating & kind. Would highly recommend!

I wandered in here for a banh mi but when the sweet friendly server told me that they were Bangladeshi, I ate a Bangladeshi vegetarian patty-type dish instead. So delicious, what a great discovery! & such great service! Just a counter & a few tables, nothing fancy, simply a great lunch served with a smile. I'll be back!
La nourriture est excellente, j'ai super bien mangé le restaurant est propre joli je recommande cette adresse à tout le monde si vous voulez vous régale
Très bonne expérience. Tout était parfait hier soir. Le lieu , les plats -le poulet était extrêmement bien cuisiné & le naan cuit parfaitement- & l'accueil.
De l'extérieur, le lieu ne paie pas de mine mais la qualité est là.

Lunch. Lamb skewer & side of rice. The first bite counts, & I couldn't not tell you that the lamb is excellent. Perfectly marinated, perfectly cooked, tender, & with crunchy skin, & the aftertaste like a fine wine. Five star recommend. The rice is perfect & moiste & delicious. All washed down with a coke. Enjoy.

2nd meal is Ailes de Poulet which I'm picking up tonight to take a picnic on Mont Royal tomorrow.

Très bonne place pour une Pho. Je n'ai pas goûté les autres plats mais la soupe Pho était 10/10. Belle portion, belle présentation, les arômes étaient parfaits.
Ma place préférée dans le centre sud.

We came to taste halal pho & banh mi for the first time. It was really good!! Even got free tea. Lovely service.Prices are great too.BUT. We found hair in our banh mi :///// & something in our pho too. Mistakes can happen but i saw that it happened to other people too.
