Avesta offers a warm, cozy Turkish dining experience in downtown Montreal with fresh bread baked on site and a menu full of authentic flavors. The atmosphere is welcoming, and service is attentive and friendly. Dishes arrive in generous portions at good value, with mezze, kebabs, manti and other classics described as flavorful and comforting. The bread and dips are standout, the grilled meats tender, and ingredients feel fresh. Desserts like baklava and kunefe are praised for balance. The spot suits families, friends, and celebrations, and many leave eager to return for the same high quality and warm hospitality.
They have delicious Turkish food in downtown. Specially their Lambs. Only negative impression is that sometimes their Revani is 3-4 days old & dry. I would recommend not to sell it when it is old. It damages your reputation
Very tasty food & so filling that it may be difficult to eat it all in one sitting, so definitely worthwhile to take the rest to-go & enjoy later. Ask for Turkish coffee, the waitresses were really kind & helpful. Nice baklavas too.
We just loved this restaurant - a little gem downtown near the forum. All the food was fresh, delicious & ever so flavourful. The waitstaff was attentive & friendly & very helpful with all recommendations. Highly recommend this spot.
Absolutely wonderful restaurant. The food is DELICIOUS. Extremely fresh & bursting with flavour. Highly recommend the lamb, eggplant mezze, & red pepper mezze! Service was excellent- our waitress was very kind & attentive & the food came VERY quickly! Great spot to have dinner before or after a movie as the forum is right down the street.

WOW Superbe découverte Des plats remplis de saveur, vraiment savoureux Généreuse portions Bémol je crois qu'il on réchauffé mon börek au micro-onde car la pâte "feuilletée" était toute molle totalement mou
An hour ago we had two iskender delivered, each for C$29. The portions were disappointingly small though - barely half of what you get in the restaurant.
Very good food Trukish food, nice enough decore. Middle of the road restaurant. We tried several items & all were excellent. The highligh is certainly the trukish calzone style cheese or spinach, fresh on a hot iron dome, right at the front of the place. Service is friendly, but could be a bit more on point. Overall a great experience.
