Everything was honestly amazing! The borek was delicious, the sarma was tasty & the lentil soup was really good too. I also tried the Urfa kebab, perfectly seasoned, a bit spicy but super flavorful. The service was fast & friendly & the food came out quickly.
The only thing I didn't really like was the Ayran, it had too much water & not enough salt, so the taste wasn't quite right for me.
Overall, great Turkish food & a place I'd definitely come back to!

The food was okay. The chicken/beef kebab, eskender, muhammara, all tasted pretty bland. The only main dish I liked was the manti. For dessert, the knefeh was good & we enjoyed the Turkish tea.

Food was good but not enough meat on their main courses. You only get one kafta kebab when your order a plate. Also turkish food usually comes with Bulgar wheat not rice with chick peas. Overall very good but at this price point you need to give clients for meat. Thank you!
If you're looking for an authentic turkish experience, Avesta is the best in Montreal. They even started live music on certain days & they're adding vegetarian menu options. The owner & staff are so kind & welcoming! We ordered Saj Kavurma & Adana kebab as well as gozleme ... 5 stars for sure!
This Turkish restaurant exceeded my expectations! The service was impeccable, the atmosphere authentically decorated, & the food, especially the Tavuk Kebab, Iskender, & Sarma appetizer, was simply delicious. Highly recommended for a delightful culinary experience!
We got the Tavuk kebab with the rice & beyti kebab. The beyti kebab was very good. A solid 4.5/5. The tavuk kebab were decent too, but could have been better, 3.5/5. The thing that let us down was the service & the ambiance. Needs massive improvement on the front. The kunafa at the end was a 3/5 too. Not too bad not too good. One more thing that needs to be added is potatoes (fries) to the menu.

Très bel endroit, chaleureux, superbes nappes, objets décoratifs rappelant la Turquie. Service courtois. Mezzes: très bonnes feuilles de vignes avec yogourt savoureux, humus ok, mouhamara ordinaire. Kebab-viandes bien marinés, gouteux & pain délicieux toutefois, accompagnements (salade de chou rouge au persil, riz & légumes) fades & sans aucun arôme, décevant pour ce type de cuisine si parfumée habituellement. Le pire étant le riz vraiment raté. Lahmacun ok sans plus, encore ici, manque de goût. Un endroit tout de même unique à Montreal qui gagnerait à s'élever mais qui vaut le détour pour son caractère unique. Une dame façonne des mantis (pâtes farcies) à la main à l'avant du restaurant. On reviendra pour les sandwichs qui semblent très populaires.
Cet endroit est agréable si vous voulez mangez qlq chose du bien j etais hier soir avec ma copine j ai pris un jarred d agneau c est un turkish plat très délicieux & ma copine ella a pris beyti kebab c était tellement bon le service est génial & rapide ils sont très organisés & propre & les serveuses aussi sont très souriante & gentils une place à recommander 👍👍👍
