The space itself is modest in size but full of soul. Traditional Turkish décor & artwork bring warmth & cultural depth to the interior, creating an atmosphere that feels both familiar & transportive. On select evenings, the addition of live music further enhances the experience, blending sound & flavor in the most inviting way.

The food was great (authentic Turkish food). The staff very friendly. The service was amazing. The place is located in a central part of Montreal so withing walking distance from metro stations (I walked from Atwater). I would recommend this restaurant & I am looking forward to my next visit.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Avesta, & it was an unforgettable experience! The food was absolutely fantastic, with rich flavors & authentic Turkish dishes that left me wanting more. The live performances added so much energy & charm to the evening, perfectly complementing the vibrant atmosphere. On top of that, the service was amazing-attentive, friendly, & ensured everything was perfect. Avesta is a must-visit for anyone looking for incredible food & a memorable dining experience!
Simple, tasty, & small cozy restaurant that serves authentic Turkish dishes. We ordered: beef Gözleme, Sadj Lamb, Avesta salad & the best of the best, Manti. All super fresh & served very quickly. We ended the night with an authentic Turkish tea. I would definitely come back to try other dishes.
I'm familiar with Turkish cuisine & this restaurant serves nice tasteful authentic Turkish food. You wouldn't go wrong with any items in there menu... All are tasteful full of flavor perfectly & generously served. Appetizer, salads, grills & pide all were great. Asal who served us is a nice, respectful & professional staff. If you're looking for an authentic turkish experience, Avesta is the best in Montreal. They even started live music on certain days & they're adding vegetarian menu options. The owner & staff are so kind & welcoming! We ordered Saj Kavurma & Adana kebab as well as gozleme ... 5 stars for sure!

This Turkish restaurant exceeded my expectations! The service was impeccable, the atmosphere authentically decorated, & the food, especially the Tavuk Kebab, Iskender, & Sarma appetizer, was simply delicious. Highly recommended for a delightful culinary experience!
