I got a small overpriced turmeric latte with an extra shot of espresso was about $8 without the tip.
It was ok.
Then I sat down in the back corner & they were keeping the backdoor step as a small storage spot.
The place doesn't seem very clean & they should get new chairs.
Very nice staff & excellent service. The coffee is delicious & the pastries are fresh & tasty. A cozy spot that's perfect for a quick break or a relaxed moment.
Nice & cozy cafe. We got our drinks & some sandwiches both of them delicious.
The only comment would be regarding the time that it took for the staff to take our order. We were like 5 people in the line & instead of just taking everybody's orders & then just calling them to pick it up, they would take the order, serve it & then take the next person. Other than that, service was great & friendly.
I often go there to get coffee to-go, however you can also sit it! Service is always impeccable, all the baristas are very polite, professional & so sweet! While it is on the pricier side for a coffee shop, I always enjoy my experience, highly recommend!! Also their blueberry muffin is amazing if you re looking for a quick snack :)
I'm from Saskatchewan & my husband & I stopped in for a coffee & something to eat. We had incredible service from the staff & Great conversation with the Manager/Owner. The Chocolate Croissant & Raspberry Scone were both Fresh & So Yummy. I would definitely recommend this place & I would Definitely Come Back!!
Super fussy about cafe standards because often disappointed but this afternoon my tumeric latte & quiet hour spent relaxing at AveG was well worth it. Counter staff friendly & efficient - you can feel they want to make sure you enjoy your order & time in house ... thank you!

Great staff & good coffee, but unfortunately the owner tends to be more welcoming to locals & less so to foreigners. We've experienced this on multiple occasions, which ultimately led us to stop visiting the café.
When I visit my parents in Montreal, I always love to have breakfast or lunch at Avenue G on Greene Avenue. Everything I have ordered has been incredibly delicious, from the savory croissant sandwiches (the ham & cheese w/ apple is my fave!) to the most amazing & pretty caffe lattes. The staff are super friendly & attentive, & always go the extra mile to ensure my son has the perfect hot chocolate, or warmed milk, that is not too hot to burn his mouth. It's a lovely place to go for lunch with a friend or a client; it's stylish & peaceful -- I love the art on the walls too. Ave G is by far the best cafe in Westmount, I highly recommend it!!
