The McGowan Inn opens its doors to a living room with a wood-burning fireplace and a bar, where you can enjoy a drink or a good coffee. The adjoining dining room, completely glazed, and the large terrace offer a magnificent view of Lake Memphremagog. The Inn also offers a private room that can accommodate a group of 12 people for a meeting or for a meal taken in complete privacy.
Local products are featured, including fine herbs from the Inn's garden and organic vegetables from the Jardin du Quartier, which holds a farmers' market on Saturdays in Georgeville.

via LibroBonjour, c'est toujours un bonheur d'être servi par la jeune & bienveillante Abeille. Lorsque nous avons brunché, il n'y avait pas de musique. Ça aurait été plus agréable & il y a eu des erreurs dans nos plats. Mais bon, dans l'ensemble c'était super :)
via LibroThe new weekday lunch menu is a huge improvement! Congratulations!! As for the food, here are my thoughts but rest assured that we will always be there to support you. I had the crêpe. The crepe itself was rather dry, thick & hard to cut, specially on the ends. A crêpe is usually much thinner & easy to cut with a fork. The filling, while being alright, has a heavy sauce which was thick & overpowered the asparagus & other elements of it. The crêpe was served with French fries which is rather odd. To be constructive, I would suggest two smaller, finer crepes & salad even though there is a choice of a salad as the starter. The starters were great as was the very tasty dessert that was extremely well presented.
via LibroYou now have a Table D'Hote menu at lunch which is an improvement. The price of the Table D'Hote was reasonable. That was an improvement as well. The range of choices was good & the price of each thing was reasonable. The price of a glass of wine seems a bit high in comparison to other places, but maybe we are being unfair. We have not done a scientific survey.

Les lieux & l'ambiance sont fantastiques. C'est la première fois que nous allions pour le brunch. Un peu déçu de la quantité dans l'assiette. Amuses bouches bons mais aurait apprécié un morceau de fromage plus gros. L'assiette classique, aurait préféré des oeufs tournés & une assiette mieux garnie pour le prix.
Nous adorons cet endroit.

Toutefois, le service de brunch comportait trop de nourriture pour chaque invité & de qualité très moyenne - premier service avec trop de choses (dont un croissant froid), oeuf poché avec les blancs qui coulaient, pain perdu brioché trop abondant avec trop de sauces différentes & sans grand goût, service de café très généreux mais café pas assez chaud, etc. Service très attentif & courtois & ambiance très agréable sauf vers la fin quand le volume de la musique a été élevé, ce qui rendait la conversation impossible. Le jazz pour le brunch serait peut être préférable à la musique pop, plus difficile à écouter le dimanche matin... Nous tenterons un autre coup mais espérons que ces points pourront être réglés. via LibroThe waitstaff were friendly & did an excellent job accommodating us as non-French speakers. Our arrival was confusing & felt a bit uncomfortable because there was no one at the desk & the waitstaff had to find someone who know how to check us in. Not having designated inn staff made it feel little like "you are on your own" establishment. That said, the entire place was wonderfully decorated. Our room was lovely, clean (except the coffee machine which still had a used pod in it) & the food delicious.
