The McGowan Inn opens its doors to a living room with a wood-burning fireplace and a bar, where you can enjoy a drink or a good coffee. The adjoining dining room, completely glazed, and the large terrace offer a magnificent view of Lake Memphremagog. The Inn also offers a private room that can accommodate a group of 12 people for a meeting or for a meal taken in complete privacy.
Local products are featured, including fine herbs from the Inn's garden and organic vegetables from the Jardin du Quartier, which holds a farmers' market on Saturdays in Georgeville.

Great lunch with a great view in a beautiful setting. Our first time back since it was newly renovated. Exquisitely done. The service was outstanding. Highly recommend.

Le restaurant avec son service & son menu est toujours une expérience positive . Cependant , l'été le jeudi pour le repas du souper , des musiciens sur la terrasse font des prestations musicales trop forte en bruit qui empêche les clients de jaser entre eux . On se croirait dans une salle de spectacle tellement la musique avec amplis est forte . Hier , les clients de 3 tables ont demandé d'être déplacé en cours de repas étant incapable de se parler entre eux . C'est regrettable en plein été de se sentir obligé de rentrer à l'intérieur du resto pour pouvoir maintenir une conversation .
Nous avons eu la chance d'aller manger à leur bonne table pour notre 28e anniversaire de mariage, le décor est magnifique, la qualité de la nourriture est parfaite & le service impeccable.

Chutttt... Surtout n'ébruitez pas ce coin de paradis de l'Estrie! Nous avons profité d'un lunch exceptionnel sur la terrasse de L'Auberge McGowan avec un de nos fils & sa conjointe. Un délicieux lobster roll & un bon vin blanc: les bonheurs de l'été! Service discret, souriant, attentionné, nourriture fraîche & goûteuse, paysage exceptionnel. Merci à toute l'équipe!
Excellent service from each & every one of the staff from the servers to administrators to housekeeping. Additionally the staff was always pleasing to deal with.

For the restaurant - I come here every year! Great spot to grab lunch on a sunny day. Right by the water so you're very likely to get a nice breeze if you sit on the terrace. The calamari is always a hit, they often change up the mains, I have always enjoyed the items that I've ordered.
I loved the renovations & the food was delicious. Unfortunately, the portions were very small (watermelon salad that was about 19$ literally had maybe 6-7 small cubes of watermelon) for the price.
