The McGowan Inn opens its doors to a living room with a wood-burning fireplace and a bar, where you can enjoy a drink or a good coffee. The adjoining dining room, completely glazed, and the large terrace offer a magnificent view of Lake Memphremagog. The Inn also offers a private room that can accommodate a group of 12 people for a meeting or for a meal taken in complete privacy.
Local products are featured, including fine herbs from the Inn's garden and organic vegetables from the Jardin du Quartier, which holds a farmers' market on Saturdays in Georgeville.

Such a lovely setting. We had a window table & could admire the lake. Great food. Enjoyed our choices of gnocchi & fish.

The only disappointment were the desserts... if you don't have a pastry chef, which I understand is difficult, why not have a selection of ice cream/sorbets? The quality of the cakes were like grocery-store quality & not consistent with the rest of the meal. The servers & ambiance were excellent.

l'accueil n'était pas super, on a du attendre plusieurs minutes avant que l'on s'occupe de nous. Les cocktails ne sont pas bons, que de la glace, en plus aucun gâteaux ou petites mises en bouche. Pas de pain avec le potage. La nourriture est bonne. En prenant la table d'hôte qui est très chère on pensait avoir un meilleur service, j'ai signalé mon anniversaire, même pas un geste, une bougie ...
c'est sur que l'on ne reviendra plus. le rapport qualité prix n'est pas bon

Après avoir manqué le Fish&Chip la semaine passée, (arrivage le lendemain jeudi) voilà, le retour en disponibilité.
. DÉCEPTION magistrale, mon morceau est gros comme mon pouce & sec de bord en bord, les 3 convives à déguster ce plat on fait chou blanc, à ne pas recommander, pourtant, l'année passée c'était un met de choix
