How to get to Auberge McGowan, Magog

The McGowan Inn opens its doors to a living room with a wood-burning fireplace and a bar, where you can enjoy a drink or a good coffee. The adjoining dining room, completely glazed, and the large terrace offer a magnificent view of Lake Memphremagog. The Inn also offers a private room that can accommodate a group of 12 people for a meeting or for a meal taken in complete privacy.

Local products are featured, including fine herbs from the Inn's garden and organic vegetables from the Jardin du Quartier, which holds a farmers' market on Saturdays in Georgeville.

Le nouveau McGowan est magnifique, tout comme le service & la qualité du menu. Qqs auvents en terrasse permettraient de préserver le cachet de l'expérience Al Fresco que nous aimions tant.

L'environnement magnifique!
Le serveur je lui donnerais 6 étoiles
Pour ce qui est du repas: j'ai pris le tartare de saumon , & il manquait de Punch . La présentation était correcte.
J'ai beaucoup apprécié qu'on remplace les frites par une salade.
Pour mon amie , elle avait commandé un Lobster Roll. L'apparence était de seconde qualité. Le pain était petit & légèrement brûlé & les frites n'& Pas digne d'un restaurant haute gamme. Elles m'apparaissaient molles & elles étaient noircies. Pour éviter cet effet, l'huile doit être changée régulièrement. Car plus l'huile est cuite & recuite plus elle noircit les frites & ce processus aussi contribue au développement des gras trans.
L'endroit est bucolique & je crois que le repas doit être à son image!
Bravo pour l'environnement C'est une réussite totale!
