We returned to an old friend with old friends. As we entered, we quickly recognized the manager (our former server of years past) & got a little reaquainted at the door. A few changes since our last visit pre-COVID, maybe 2018, but it remains clean, comfortable, & familiar.
Between us, we ordered escargot, caesar salad, salmon, chicken brochettes, & grilled chicken with mustard, cheese, etc. We all agreed that the chicken was far from dry, the salads were crisp & fresh, & the salmon was cooked to perfection. Portions are not as large as they used to be, but that's a positive comment. I can now eat everything on my plate & not feel bad about not finishing my meal. We were all too full for dessert. Maybe next time!
Service was excellent & paced just right. My water glass was always refilled before I had a chance to empty it.
We went on a Wednesday night, around 6 pm. I always find weekends over-crowded anywhere & enjoy the peace of week nights.
We will definitely be back for more!
