My first time visiting this place. Absolutely loved the atmosphere. The staff was very polite & welcoming. We ordered Chicken soup, Mantoo(4), & a Mix platter(1). Everything was delicious & warm. Really loved the taste of spices. Giving 4 stars because I found the meat portion in the Mix platter less compared to the price. Major of the portions were rice & salad. Would have definitely loved a little bit more of meat as they are the main stars of the platter.

Première expérience hier & certainement pas la dernière. L'ambiance est très agréable mais le service & la nourriture exceptionnel. Ne connaissant pas ce genre de cuisine nous avons donné carte blanche à la cuisine & à notre plus grand plaisir nous avons fait une découverte qui nous donne le goût d'y retourner. We always have a good time when we go to this restaurant ! Each time, we forget how amazing the food is! The squash is delicious, the bread, the meat, the rice, really, everything ! It is very fairly priced, & we always feel super welcome & it has this family-vibe place! We often go as a family with a young child & always feel very welcome. Recommend 100%

From the moment one steps into the restaurant, one feels welcomed into their warm, cozy space - a home away from home. I love that the owners/chefs take the time to come out to chat with their customers, adding that personalized touch. Aryana's menu is varied enough to keep one's curiosity well satisfied & has something for even the most discerning tastes. Their dishes are absolutely delectable, lightly spiced, & refined. Ordering a variety of apetizers to share is always a good idea as it will help maximize the Aryana Experience for all. Their vegetarian & beef Sambosa's, lightly, airy, crispy puff pasty filled with potatoes or beef are one of my favorite appetizers! The lamb is tender & juicy, & I could cut right through my chicken brochette with my fork! Try their homemade iced tea. You'll be glad you did! Have a sweet tooth? Their rice pudding or their Afghan baklava will have your tastebuds singing! Wow!! Go with an apetite & hold on to your hat for a culinay experience that sets excellent standards for other restaurants to follow! I recommend a call to the restaurant to lock down a reservation, especially if yours is a large group or if the outing is for a special occasion. Yum 😋 yum. Glad I decided to try give it a try. Very delicious. Big servings too. I like the atmosphere & deco with the kites. Reminded me of a book I read in college'The Kite Runner'. Anyhoo, amazing 👏 food. Will be back for sure. 💚
Professional service, friendly staff, & a delicious variety of food. Important point: they can customize them into vegan versions. We tried the vegan Ghorme Sabzi & Kadou Palow, both of which we liked a lot. Shakib is a very nice & friendly person whom you'll enjoy talking to. We will definitely return, & we highly recommend this place. Don't forget to try their homemade Doogh!

Last night we wanted to order out & wanted to try something new.My family has been on the island since 1977.Needless to say I've tried every restaurant on the island many times over the years.I had never tasted Afghan food & we had no clue what to order.We guessed & chose two appetizers & one main & shared it was plenty (sambosa,Kadu & mixed plate #3) & it came with fresh bread.It was just awesome.Super fresh,super tasty,& every dish has its own special/unique taste.I'd give this place 6 stars if I could.I went to bureau en gros today & Aryana is right next door.I decided to pop in & see it live.I met the owner & told him how much we enjoyed our meal & he walked me through the menu for future reference.The place is quaint & clean & the owner seems like a great person.I'm already planning a visit to the restaurant asap.By the way it's a bring your own wine.I can't wait to taste their stews.This is the first time I've ever written a review(positive or negative) .Do yourself & your taste buds a favor & visit this place!
