Let's get something straight: some places are worth the drive. Not'good for the area,' not'convenient if you're nearby' - I'm talking about a place that justifies going out of your way, especially if you live anywhere west of Montreal. & this Afghani restaurant in Île-Perrot? It's the spot. A hidden gem in the truest sense.
Forget downtown dining hype. Forget overpriced Instagrammable nonsense. This place is raw authenticity, deep flavor, & warmth - the kind of food that doesn't need to scream to be heard. It's tucked out there past the West Island, just far enough to feel like a discovery, & trust me: if you're in the West Island or anywhere farther west, you owe it to yourself to eat here.
Incredible Afghan food thoughtfully plated & prepared. Delicious with lots of vegetarian & multiple meat options. Don't miss the appetizers or rice pudding! Surprisingly affordable. For the quality of the meal & service, you'd expect to pay 50% more. Great for a weeknight out for something different or even a special occasion for a big group.
This restaurant is the perfect place to go for a heartwarming & home-like experience. The atmosphere is calm & peaceful, with no loud music-ideal for families seeking a relaxed dining environment. What stood out most was how accommodating the staff were with my toddler. They offered flexible portion sizes & even adjusted the food to suit her preferences, which made the meal stress-free & enjoyable for both of us. The warm service, cozy setting, & delicious home-style dishes made us feel genuinely cared for. It's a place where families can feel comfortable, welcomed, & truly at home.
I had an incredible dining experience at this Afghani restaurant! The food was rich, flavourful, & authentically prepared from the tender kebabs to the aromatic pulao. The service was equally impressive; the staff was attentive, friendly, & made sure we had everything we needed. The ambiance was warm & inviting, making it the perfect place for a cozy meal. The food was delicious ! They set us up with a little bit of everything & there was not one thing we didn't like , the meat , the rice , sambosas etc

Un 4 janvier 2025 seulement deux tables occupées durant toute la soirée. On demande l'aubergine, il n'y en a plus… allergique à la coriandre, l'hôtesse s'informe & il y a de la coriandre dans tous les plats alors va pour une soupe au poulet & nouilles banale sans artifice… mon conjoint prend un semblant d'osso bucco afghan… trois petits morceaux de boeuf enterrés sous une montagne de riz & une petite salade bonne sans plus, en accompagnement On pense se rattraper avec les desserts… il n'y en a plus depuis trois semaines..: La question du jour: recommandons nous ce restaurant.!NON
C'est vrm une perle ce resto! Excellent service & la bouffe est delicieuse! 10/10!!!
