one of the very few Bengali restaurants in Mtl, was pretty excited when I first tried the authentic platter with white rice , alu bhorta & dal & they didnt disappoint. But as I started trying their other meals, altho the taste takes me back to my home country, the oil might take me to the hospital. Too much oil in every meal, muglai was overheated by dipping in oil again & the price is really really overpriced also mandatory tips was very disappointing tooView more
Please don't take the 1 star reviews seriously. Bangladeshis (including my parents) are quick to get angry, entitled & critical over small inconveniences. Their food is absolutely AMAZING! I've been ordering their food since COVID & I still do take-out, their food has never failed. I had a small issue once & the owner was so quick to help. Food & customer is overall amazing. Give them a chance! & please have their pulao & roast combo, it helped me through tough days (because it's that amazing) Thank you Appayon for putting Bangladeshi food on the map!View more

Food was good but I guess they didn't use good oil, I got gastric & acidity issues on the next day. Hope restaurant will focus on food quality in future.View more

Best Bangladesh restaurant in Montreal. Quality food within reasonable price...View more
Bengali food is the best, hands down. The place is just a bit pricier than could be, & sometimes the amounts of servings feel a bit too little, but taste wise food is amazing. Also a lot of times some menu items are not available & that could be improved.View more
They dropped from a 4 - 5 star resto to a 2 - 3 star eatery. Used to order from here all the time thru ubereats but we noticed they started decreasing quantity by alot while prices remained the same. Their items were always overpriced to begin with compared to similar restaurants but we ordered anyway for years because we liked the taste & quantity. But as of late, we noticed they reduced both quality & quantity. At least adjust your prices instead of ripping off your customers. Likely won't order anymore.View more

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Appayon, a hidden gem that transported me straight to the heart of Bengali Kitchen. The flavors at Appayon are nothing short of spectacular. Each dish bursts with authenticity, carrying the soul of Bangladeshi cuisine. Whether you're a fan of aromatic spices or crave comforting stews, this place delivers. I must appreciate their kind & friendly staff. The portions are hearty, satisfying, & perfect for sharing. Whether you're a solo diner or part of a group, you'll leave with a contented belly & a smile. So, gather your loved ones, savor the flavors, & let the warmth of Bangladeshi hospitality envelop you.View more
I was craving Pulao & Roast & ordered a takeout. The rice tasted bland, i think they missed salt entirely. The roast was ok, but pulao was too bad to eat. Too much oily. Another customer was complaining about the food & the server who was present there was kinda rude with them, overhearing their conversation. Mughlai was ok, fuchka was not upto the mark.View more
