While the food we had was decent, I learned that this establishment doesn't pay its employees. We were catered to by a very kind & caring individual & it truly hurt my heart to hear this. How can you run a business & not pay your employees? What kind of establishment would do such a thing? How do you expect your business to succeed? A restaurant is nothing without its employees. Learning this has honestly ruined any positive thoughts I had about this place. I will never be back, I don't recommend anyone comes here, & I will be telling everyone I know to avoid this place & how they decide to do'business.' Truly despicable.

Excellent restaurant! The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, & everyone was so friendly & welcoming. We watched the game there, & the atmosphere made us feel like we were enjoying it with family. Another big plus is that everything is halal. I highly recommend this place & will definitely be coming back!

Me & my boyfriend are both Greek & this is not Greek food they are serving. I expected something better because of their prices but the seafood pasta that he got had mussels in it that were expired & the quality wasn't good. The Greek salad is not Greek- that's not feta in it it's mizithra & it doesn't have the right ingredients I don't recommend this spot if you wanna try Greek food- it does not represent Greek food accurately. The 2 stars is for the staff & the Greek music/ambiance

Everything about Restaurant Anecdote was wonderful: delicious & flavorful food, top notch service, & a charming outdoor patio which was a lovely place to eat on an early summer night. The Anecdote salad was particularly excellent & the filet mignon skewer was cooked perfectly. We'll definitely be going back, highly recommend this restaurant.

I was visiting Montreal with my family & we had an amazing time! The lamb & octopus were both super yummy & our server Envy was so attentive & charming & made the experience for us! Would strongly recommend!

One of best Greek restaurants in montreal. Top quality of steak with perfectly cooked. Soup,rice & also very good. I am highly recommend this place. Thanks chef shohel to taking care of me

Had the 39$ three course meal, for its value it was fantastic, the zuchini chips & the fried cabbage balls were very delicious & flavorful. I had the 16 Oz steak, it was perfectly cooked at medium rare, as well as the loukoumades with cream cheese as dessert was a perfect way to end it. Othman gave us excellent service!! Highly recommend this spot!
