The lights were very bright, the music being played was very loud & on 2x speed, the coffees were not made well-my coffee had a layer of slime, rather than foam-& overall I have no intention of returning. For all the cafes Montreal has to offer, skip this one.
Kinda disappointed by the CAFE compared to the good rating.
Very bright white lighting, their 5$ latte is just coffee with milk in it (no expertise). Depends on your needs, bit the vibes are kinda off.
Didn't try the hotel, though.
went there only for the coffee shop. baristas are very welcoming & drinks were good! lots of plugs in the walls & tables to study, not too busy & well located!!
Chill little spot & the barista made me an excellent dirty chai. Perfect texture taste & temperature. WiFi working great. Decent prices. In fact, I find some of the coffee drinks to be bit cheaper than other places. So that's a plus. Enjoy.
I honestly had low expectations for the coffee since it's part of a hotel, but honestly, it's probably the best tasting cafe I had so far in Montreal (& I have tried most of the known coffee shops in town). Will be back NchAllah
🏝️A small, tucked-away oasis in the heart of the city. Been here many times for coffee dates with a friend or to chill out on my laptop. Located on Stanley near corner of Sherbrooke inside an old nondescript row house that is also a boutique-boutique hotel. It has a low-key exclusive feeling & a quaint, relaxing atmosphere that vibes student-hipster-Canadian. Many patrons seem associated with McGill University, which makes sense given the campus is a block away. Usually just one barista staffing the place who is always kind, accommodating, & mild mannered. Thoughtful, subtly cheeky, Montreal-hipster nods everywhere if you look close enough. Hats off to the managers, the place avoids stuffiness & has a soothing energy. Pastries & beverages are good though the lunch-y meals could stand to be fresher, smarter, tastier.
No bad, but so load & no match music. I was alone for hour & I feel boring. It's weired for coffee place.
Great expresso coffee ☕️. Nice atmosphere. I wish they had cream, as there is only milk & milk substitute available
