Impressive local bike shop that also does rentals. We rented a bakfiet cargo bike to haul our 18 month old toddler. She had a blast! Great service & fair prices. Highly recommend.

We rented cargo e-bikes on a visit to Montreal with our kids. It was so fun! The workers are so kind & helpful. They gave us some great tips on places to go on the bike path (like the F1 track). The bikes themselves were in perfect condition.

My family & I rented bikes from Allo Vélo on the 30th. We rented a mix of regular bikes, e-bikes & a cargo e-bike for my dad who has Parkinson's & struggles with his balance. Only 20 minutes into our ride an unknown cyclist was going way too fast under an overpass, lost control & crashed right into my dad knocking him to the ground & damaging a wheel on the cargo bike. Luckily my dad was ok & just shook up from the incident. We called Allo Velo immediately to notify them of the crash & the damage to the wheel. They told us to hang tight & would deliver us another cargo bike to our location. 15 minutes later they arrived with a new bike for my Dad so we could continue our sightseeing with no interruption & even offered to extend our rental time an extra hour free of charge! Biking is a great way to see Montreal, we rode to the formula one track & did some laps. I highly suggest Allo Velo & we look forward to renting from them again next summer!
We had an amazing experience with allo velo. They took care of my elderly dad with his rental as he needed a cargo bike for stability. They gave us bonus time at no charge when we got delayed.
We had such a great rental experience. We reserved online & rented a Trio Mono for the day. It was very agile & cool looking & fit our family well. The staff focused on us & made sure we had a safe route & some places to visit.
On return, we were looking at kids bikes & decided to buy one on the spot after great customer service & willingness to make it work for our schedule. Lamar delivered the packed bike directly to our hotel because we didn't have an easy way to move it.
Great service, came in because I had a front wheel flat, bike technician got it fixed in 10 minutes for 25$ & even tuned my bike for free. Honest bike shop & straight to the point! Will definitely come back, even if it is not the closest one to my place l.

Great experience at Allo Vélo! Jordan was top notch. He honestly diagnosed my bike, communicated every step clearly, & even went out of his way to remove my crankset & fenders. He really goes the extra mile to keep cyclists happy. Highly recommend asking for Jordan!
This place deserves higher than five stars. Far & beyond the best customer service experience I've ever had. They're so friendly that it was genuinely fun to just hang out while my bike was being repaired, & the repair was quick & professional. On top of that, I'm quite new to biking & the guy I spoke with took the time to give me advice & pointers & came outside to teach me proper'position' on the bike. Genuinely awesome people working here & I will very likely be going back even if just for a coffee (they also make a great cappuccino!)

I recently visited Allo Velo Boutique for their repair service & I was pleased with the quick turnaround & quality of work. I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. Lamar , among his co-workers are incredibly knowledgeable & friendly. They took the time to understand my needs & Lamar's expertise was evident as he answered all my questions. The atmosphere in the store was welcoming, making it a pleasant place to browse & ask questions. Overall, I highly recommend Allo Velo to anyone in the market for a bike or cycling gear. I'll definitely be returning for future purchases & maintenance!
Vous voulez un bike shop qui tiens sa parole & qui est honnête, le voici! Honnêtement, très bon service. Tellement bon que même après plusieurs mois après une grosse mise au point, j'ai remarqué un problème causé pas une installation inadéquate & ils ont écouté ce que j'avais à dire & réparé le tout avec le sourire en prenant le blâme sur eux. Très rare de voir ça ces temps-ci.
I live in Edmonton, but was looking online at a cargo bike at this store. While the bike ultimately ended up going to someone else, Lamar found me a similar bike at their sister store in Vancouver (Velo Lifestyle) & helped me ultimately get it here to Edmonton. Would definitely recommend doing business at this establishment!
Great bike shop. I've had my bike tuned up here several times. They're honest & won't always charge you if it's a quick fix. They've fixed issues caused by other bike shops, highly recommend !

My go to store for all things bike related. Friendly staff with customized service delivered with care. I've had the privilege to see this bike shop grow & so inspired by how they've established themselves in the community. Hopefully I get to work there one day!
Wir haben ein E-Bike und ein Cargo Bike gemietet, da wir mit Kindern unterwegs waren. Die Übergabe verlief sehr unkompliziert. Wir erhielten für alle passende und moderne Helme und Schlösser sowie Ladegeräte. Es waren alle Mitarbeiter wirklich sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit und haben uns alles erklärt. Das Erlebnis war top! 👍
We rented an e-bike & hybrid bike for the day. A helmet & lock were included in the rental. The staff was extremely helpful & easy to work with. We were also given a map & recommendations of where to ride. When we arrived to return our bikes , one of the workers gave my wife a glass of cold water, this was such a nice gesture. Thank you for making our day in Montreal so memorable.
