We must have walked by Allô mon Coco a number of times when heading back & forth from our hotel in mid-May 2026 but never really noticed this breakfast/brunch restaurant. The interior is rather large & bright & the menu is rather friendly with something for everyone.

We started with a Passion-Peach Explosion with peach syrup, sparkling water, & passion fruit bubbles. I found the bubbles to be very juicy & popped in your mouth for a tart explosion.

I wound up ordering the Du Chef Benedict ($21.95) with bacon & swiss cheese, a fruit cup, & took the De Luxe Potatoes with caramelized onions, bacon, & cheddar. We also got the Lac Saint-Jean ($19.75) with baked beans, cretons (like a pork pate), & blueberry pancakes.

Breakfast was good with generous portion size. I think cretons might be an acquired taste.

Allô Mon Coco - Breakfast with a Side of Patience

We stopped at Allô Mon Coco for breakfast, & overall, it was a delicious & very generous experience!

Our daughter went straight for the Nutella crêpe with orange juice - because apparently breakfast is supposed to be dessert when you're a kid. 😄 My wife had the sausage, potato cubes, scrambled eggs & fruit, while I went with the Montreal Omelet loaded with meat & Swiss cheese, served with dark bread. Of course, coffee was involved - & thankfully, the refills kept coming hot & plentiful. ☕?

The food was genuinely delicious, & the portions were HUGE. Nobody left wondering whether breakfast was enough. If anything, we were wondering if we needed to rent a U-Haul to take the leftovers home. 😂

The restaurant was surprisingly quiet, with only a couple of families dining when we arrived. The staff spoke English & were friendly & pleasant.

Now for the one little wrinkle: the wait. About 30 minutes for our food when the dining room was mostly empty. That felt a little excessive. We started wondering if our omelet was being raised from an egg, taught French, & given a culinary degree before reaching the table. 😂

Still, the food was excellent, the portions generous, the coffee stayed hot, & the staff were kind. So despite the unusually long breakfast production schedule, we left happy.

Delicious breakfast, huge portions, good coffee & friendly service - just bring a little patience… apparently breakfast here likes to make a grand entrance. 😉

Excellent food & excellent service. Fair prices & very filling. Very cozy & modern atmosphere. Alexandra was a delightful server & was very attentive. Best potatoes in town! If we could give them 10 stars, we would.

Really enjoyed my breakfast here. Food was really good, as well as the oj. It was quite loud but that was because I was there at peak lunchtime & there was a lot of people there/tables full. What topped off the experience, was the service/smile/chat from Olivia who really made the experience, so thank you to her & also the nice lad Hamza for taking the bill/payment.
My food included added luxury potatoes with cheese & some maple syrup (which came with bacon). Plenty of options on the menu to choose from!

This was my very first time at Allo Mon Coco & definitely not the last.
The seating capacity is huge & the restaurant was packed solid during lunchtime on a Saturday. Everything looked organized & clean.
The menu was quite elaborate with so many options & designed to please any taste.

We were 2 adults & a child & opted to order only 2 dishes:
Copenhague (2 oeufs pochés, saumon fumé & sauce hollandaise
Choco Coco de Luxe (2 oeufs, choix de viande, crêpe farcie de fraise & crème anglaise).

I am glad we ordered only 2 dishes as the portions were more than generous. Each dish comes with potato cubes or mash & slices of bread.

Service was amazingly fast, for a restaurant that was full to the brim.
Each of the dishes were prepared with perfection, with no cutting corners. Everything was meant to impress. Even the bowl of fruits contains bananas, cantaloupe, blue & black berry, strawberry, water melon, pineapple & grapes with everyone of these fruits being crisp & fresh. The pancake was just out of this world, with every bite revealing the velvety roundness of fresh cream & strawberry.

Good breakfast place. Its often crowded so prepare for waiting a bit. The atmosphere is a bit « colder » than most breakfast places. Very bright & high, white ceiling. Not a warm vibe like a lot of cute breakfast places around town but the food is great (especially their smashed potatoes) & it gets the job done! Prices are normal-high for these kind of places.

Came in for breakfast one morning on a recent trip. The hostess was honestly awful, did not acknowledge us & rolled her eyes when I tried to communicate in English (my french isn't at the fluent level just yet). I told her I can leave if she would prefer but then she grabbed menus & sat us down. She was the only bad experience at this location & Quebec in general. It is free to be kind so I'm not sure what her issue is.

The waitor was really kind & was taking care of a lot of tables. My partner & I ordered 2 different plates. The potatoes & crepe were delicious. Portions were huge & the price was not bad. Would go here again if that hostess was not present lol

Arrived for brunch around 10:30am no wait. Acknowledged but not'greeted' by hostesses & sat right next to the door though there were plenty of open tables throughout. It's a casual breakfast/brunch spot with a nice sized menu; very child friendly dishes here. We ordered pancakes with side of bacon & a fun drink for my son; everything was yummy but the drink had boba balls & no boba straw so near impossible to drink without making a mess.

The waitstaff were very friendly & helpful with ordering! Made some recommendations to ensure we got what we were looking for; we ended up ordering the Rueben on egg bread & side potatoes which were crispy & delicious (both held up well for leftovers); mil ordered signature brunch & Hunny had crab Benedict. Both were just ok in my opinion but I loved the strawberry cream cheese pancake & homestyle potato. Would return for a satisfying meal, good selection of food & drinks & good service.
