I was super happy with the service & presentation, portion, & taste of food in this establishment. I went to a different Allo mon coco with my family because we were visiting midtown Montréal & was pleased with the food & everything in that place too. Our server today was Amanda- she tended to our every need & ensured we got everything we ordered & more, super friendly & very quick at everything we needed. Considering it was a long weekend...the food was served very fast even though they were busy- it was beyond words good. Coffee there is amazing if you are a coffee-holic. Just sad we don't have one in the GTA area. Happy to come back to Montréal just to eat here again! Thank you!View more

Thé place la filthy. & that truly upsets me. It used to be a great restaurant. The employees are terrific. Sadly they cannot clean & serve which makes me wonder who is cleaning the restaurant. Food is mediocre. It's busy due to the location but nothing great anymore. Eggs were cold & splattered on the plate looked like they were pre cooked. Booths are not cleaned well. Grease everywhere & flies. Not happy anymore. Better places to spend our money these days.View more
Been coming here for years. This place is a gold mine as it's always busy & people are constantly coming in & out. Atmosphere- very nice & clean as with the washrooms Service- Paula was the server I saw this past Saturday July 20, 2024 & she was Amazing. This place knows how to hire staff who are filled with lovely personalities, good sense of humor, capable to converse in English & French comfortably & knowledgeable about the food & the menu - well done. Service delivery time was also very reasonable especially since it was at least 90% full. Value- portions are commensurate with the pricing. Gone are the days of an early breakfast of two eggs, toast, coffee, potatoes for $6.99. This meal is $10.99 here & the reason why most people (food wise) love this place is their home made crisp seasoned mashed (house) potatoes. I could just eat potatoes. Over the years I have tried just about everything on the menue from breakfast poutine, eggs Benedict variations, crepes, pancakes, smoothies etc. & all are excellent. So congrats to this franchisee in a job well done consistently for many many years.View more

Went on a holiday during pick hrs. But our waitress Alex took the time to explain us the menu. We had kids with us, she even took orders from them to make them feel special & grown up. Food was great. Kids loved it. Even though resto was super busy & the lines went out the door, we were not rushed & Alex never stopped smiling. Great work. Keep it up🙂View more
Busy restaurant..& even though we were a table of 13, the food came quickly, acurately, & pretty much at the same time. Excellent service, good food, decent prices. *Mother's Day is a bad time to come if you want to be seated fast. Table of 10... 1 hour wait to be seated.View more

Visited this place for late breakfast on a weekday. Busy place with lots of options for breakfast. Quite pricey but portions are good. Coffee refill was done generously. Overall a good experience. We requested for well done eggs & it was perfect.View more
Went for quick breakfast but unfortunately, waitress was more entertained talking to hostess than to bring coffee & take my order. I had to get up to wave someone down as I sat at least 10 minutes with no attention. Place wasn't too busy so no real excuse. Once she came, she was very polite & service improved. Eggs & toast were as ordered & expected & good but cubed potatoes were nothing great. Hard & possibly reheated a few times ? I'll try the mash next time. Constant banging in kitchen from cutting up stuff I guess is very distrakting. Atmosphere is a little empty & bland but that's OK for breakfast.View more
