Yes, I've tried Birdhouse & Cunningham's & any other wing spot you can find mentioned on Reddit. They're all fine-especially by Montreal standards. But they don't compare.
What makes a good wing spot? The meat must be juicy; the wings themselves must be a good size; there should be an option to order them breaded; & there must be a large variety of sauces.
Worth trying! A little on the pricey side but its worth the extra for the combination of flavors that will satisfy you ! The spot has a retro vibe which is great.

Les MEILLEURS WINGS que j'ai mangé de ma vie , les sauces sont incroyable , le poulet est bien cuit , c'est original , chaud , chaleureux , bref j'ai vraiment pleuré sur le poulet

Bonne petite place pour les ailes & les frites (nouvelle version de poutine). Ils ont un bon choix de sauce pour rendre le tout plus ou moins piquant. La pizza aussi est intéressante avec un choix de sauce piquante ou douce.
The 90s atmosphere is welcoming. Their pizza & wings are quite the best I've had for a take out. I tried their mutton roll & loved it. (It's a fun spicey taste) Will come back
This place is a hidden Jewel in the West Island Alfy & his twist on wings on pizza is unbelievable.. SO GOOD !!! Meat lovers Pizza & his combination of different styles of fries are to die for.If you ever find yourself in the west island stopping at this restaurant is mandatory
There are not enough stars to rate this place. Stepping in is a blast of nostalgia. Everything looks like a sitcome from the 90s. The nostalgic corner brings so much joy. They make changes to movie selection monthly. This is the place you dreamt of as a child & want to redo your birthday party now that you are in your 30s. The food is out of this world. Probably the best hidden gem out there, the wings, the fries, the pizzas you name it, all 10/10 hits. One issue is that the owner will tell you something isent too spicy, he is 100% not lying, but he means it aint spicy for HIM, he's shrilankan so good luck for my people who cant handle spicy, you will be crying but still eating cause the foods soo good you fight through it, amazing place would 100% recommend it everytime. Just good luck because you will be crying over this food the day after aswell.
