The food is truly exceptional & captures the essence of Mexican flavors. We started with the tortilla soup, which was a little spicy & great consistency. The chile en nogada was a standout dish-the combination of the stuffed poblano pepper with the creamy nogada sauce was perfectly balanced & incredibly flavorful. For drinks, the coffee was excellent & La Rana smoothie was a refreshing & delicious treat.

We had an incredible breakfast at Alejandro in Montreal. This spot is a must-visit for anyone looking for flavourful brunch dishes with a Mexican twist. We tried the Benedicto, chilaquiles, & poblano omelette, & every bite was delicious. The eggs on the Benedict were perfectly poached medium, the sauce was rich & smooth, & the shredded chipotle ham added just the right balance of sweet & spicy.
Before our meals, the staff treated us to a fresh fruit plate, a smoothie shot, & a slice of walnut banana bread. Such thoughtful touches & great value. The ambiance was warm & welcoming, making it a perfect spot for weekend brunch or a casual breakfast in Montreal. Very nice brunch place. Easy to make reservation & very fast response. Interesting Mexican fusion menu for decent price. The food combos were nice, unexpected, but I was not so crazy about it. Filter coffee is included in the price. Great service & nice ambiance.
Mexican brunch is such a great niche, every single one of us loved our meals & drinks, the abuelita hot chocolate was DIVINE & even better with a shot of espresso. Prices seemed very fair for the portions & quality. The city has a lot of brunch spots that rely heavily on aesthetic but serve small portions or mediocre food, so it feels like a real gem to find a place which nails each aspect. The staff was great too, felt well taken care of & attended to.
Alejandro is one of my go-to spot for solid brunch offerings where I can always count on authentic Mexican cuisine. The welcoming atmosphere, my friendly paisana 🇨🇴 who has always made sure my guests & I feel right at home, & true gems like the Oaxacan style hot chocolate are particularly decadent. Honestly, everything on the menu is delicious & I can't wait to visit them again during my next MTL adventure ❣️

Nice place to have brunch with family or friends. There is a fusion cuisine of Mexican food & American brunch. Fruits are fresh & the nopal juice is just delicious. I really enjoyed my time there. Customer service is awesome. There were very friendly & constantly offer us delicious coffee.
