Absolument délicieux ! Mais absolument délicieux. Typique nourriture portugaise & ceci vient d'un portugais alors croyez moi sur parole. Désolé pour la qualité d'image sur une des photos mais mon ami a dit que la cuisson avait été réussi impeccablement. Mon resto portugais préféré à Mtl.Voir plus

We had an excellent dinner at Aldea - we started with the fresh cheese & had a complimentary beef fritter followed by grilled squid, octopus, & steak entrees. Everything was delicious, really precisely plated with brocolli rabe, roasted potatoes & carrots. The portions are generous! The dessert was lovely, we had the flan, rice pudding & chocolate mousse - all very nice. Excellent service. We will be back next time we visit Montreal.Voir plus

Everything about this restaurant is top notch. We just waked on the street when we noticed a great atmosphere in the window. We decided to try it & everyone, four of us, thoroughly enjoyed our dishes. We had fish of the day, octopus, filet, muscles. All were fresh & great tasting. The service was also top notch. Aldea, a Portuguese restaurant, that serves big, hearty & delicious food for a very good price. Everything we took that night from the table d'hôte was delicious. Some dishes may have been a little bit too salty but barely anything that affected our entire experience. The waiters there gave excellent service too. I highly recommend it! We were very very positively surprised by how simple quality can be. From the service provided by Mr Luis, to the quality of the food. The food was very flavorful without being over seasoned. Little Portugal has many Portuguese restaurants to choose from. Choose Aldea. Grilled meat & fish - lovely. Not so hungry? Tapas offerings created with care. It's a bit noisy but that only means the place is full of people who know good food when they eat it. The flan almost floated off my plate. Stroll along St. Laurent to aid in digestion. The food was delicious & the portions were huge so even though the price isn't low, it's very justified given what you receive. Our servers were polite, the right amount of attentive, & even playful enough to make a joke about my girlfriend & I ordering the exact same dish instead of 2 different ones to share.
