Used to love this place but now I feel like the service went down. Last I order a kilo of chicken & filet mignon each of them were missing at least 2 skewers & no salad & sauces were given. Food still tastes amazing. I hope they get better.
Of the people at the counter, the woman had no clue what she was doing. She couldn't even put the items of the order together. The guy next to her, had to add some items that were to be included & that were literally next to her, including salad & garlic sauce.
If you're not competent, you shouldn't be at the counter, especially if you have an attitude when serving clients.
We ordered special offer & everything was on point...we really enjoyed the variety we got in special price... giving 4 stars only because of the BBQ chicken legs...they were old & heated again so they were cold inside...they were edible but I think they would be better if cooked only few hours ahead of service.
The food is very delicious ❤?
We tried the Fattouch salad, cuatro plate, cheese rolls, sanbosek & kibbih. The taste is amazing! 🤤
The service is good but can be better. They were friendly, answered all our questions nicely, & offered us a delicious sauce.(But they need more guest Relations training to be perfect).
The place is clean, calm & nice for families /friends.
The only small detail is that they put the hot food is plastic boxes which is not good for the health.
Over the past three years, I have consistently purchased high-quality food from this establishment. However, I have never taken the time to leave a review on Google. Today, an incident has prompted me to do so, specifically regarding the portion sizes.
Human error is a common occurrence, & I understand that mistakes can happen. I purchased an Alquds Plate, which was missing some meat & chicken. I promptly contacted the establishment, but without any explanation, they simply requested that I return & take the missing items.
While their response was professional, it is concerning that they did not provide an explanation for the incomplete plate. It is important to note that they prepared the entire plate instead of just two slices of beef, which is a significant deviation from their usual practice.
Despite this incident, I have always been satisfied with my experience at this establishment over the past three years. I have never been disappointed by their service or quality of food.
For a 90 person party at my house in the south short we ordered weeks in advanced & had everything planned to have a family member pick up the food & bring it here. With all our guests present the order came & the grilled vegetables & the spicy pita was missing, order that amount of food & no pitas at at all. When we called a rude man said well we gave them to someone else by mistake what do you want us to do now, we don't have have them anymore. I told my mom not to waste time with that rude employee that to call the owner the following week & I'm sure he would make it right. & instead we proceed to order naan bread for our guest from a closer restaurant.
To my surprise when we spoke to the owner he was ever more rude than his employee & insisted that he would make us the grilled vegetables & the spicy pita now (days later). We were stunned what would do with that quantity after our event). He finally offered 70$ for all that. We took it because it's better than nothing but insulting none the less . As good as their food is I will no longer go back just because customer service is equally as important as food quality.
Usually this is one of my favourite restaurants, so I was excited to see that they had opened a seating area. Unfortunately, my first experience dining in was very disappointing.
The service was poor from start to finish. We had to ask for water & napkins multiple times before our waitress acknowledged us. She was also on a phone call while'serving' us, & overall there was very little actual service provided.
There was also confusion when we placed our order. We wanted to eat at the restaurant but also purchase fresh meat to grill at home. She repeatedly insisted that we had to order at the table, & only after several explanations did she understand what we meant & tell us it was okay to pay for the fresh meat at the counter.
Every request took 10 to 15 minutes, even for simple things like water & napkins that were readily available. We were also given only two menus despite being a group of five.
At the end of the meal, she told us we had to pay at the table. I let her know we were paying with cash & already had the money in my hand. She walked away & never came back. After waiting, I had to go to the counter & ask another employee to help us check out. Only then did she return, take the cash from my hand, & give me my change.
I've always enjoyed this restaurant, which is why this experience was especially disappointing. I hope the service improves because the food has always been one of the reasons I keep coming back.
Generous Portions, but Mixed Results on the Food
We stopped by for the weekend special & were definitely impressed by the generous portion sizes. However, the food itself was a bit of a mixed bag.
The Hits:
The Rice: Really good & flavorful.
The Beef Kebab: Good flavor & well-prepared.
The Salad: Basic, but fresh.
The Misses:
Chicken Kebab: It was still moist, but the color of the meat looked very unappetizing.
Rotisserie Chicken Legs: This was a big miss for us. While the meat was moist, the flavor just wasn't good, & it had an odd, off-putting smell.
The Fries: They lacked that nice, crispy texture you look for.
Overall, you get a lot of food for your money, but the execution of the chicken dishes & the fries fell short during our visit.
The food is definitely the highlight here. The BBQ is tasty, particularly the beef, which is tender & full of flavor, & the portions are generous. The dining space is average, but the washroom was in poor condition & needs attention.
