Review Summary

Overall, reviews of Ahi Poke present a mix of praise and concern, with many noting freshness, generous portions, and clean, fast service and some calling it the best poke they have tried or their go to poke spot, while others describe a decline over time with higher prices, emptier dining rooms, and inconsistent quality. Positive comments highlight ultra fresh salmon, big portions, and a balance that emphasizes vegetables, though some bowls are described as delicious and satisfying. Negative feedback points to issues like missing extras, orders not reflecting what was paid for, salmon that feels chewy, avocado turning brown, lack of seaweed, and portions that feel stingy at the Mont Royal location. Delivery experiences can be unreliable, including misrouting on Uber Eats or bowls arriving half frozen. Ambience is described as calm and clean by some, but others report a louder dining room, a quiet atmosphere without music, and dim or dirty washrooms. Taken together, Ahi Poke is praised for flavor and generosity by many, yet a number of reviews flag inconsistency, price increases, and service or quality gaps that can be disappointing depending on visit.

Family & I got a chirashi poke. For 21$ you have a pretty large bowl with very diverse proteins & veggies, most poke bowl I had usually pack the whole thing with huge amount of rice but I was happily surprised that it was not the case here. Fish tasted fresh & seasoning was on point.

Update: This was two years ago, I was excited to reorder as I was passing by montreal, but unfortunately it seems that the quality went down a bit, especially some ingredients weren't as fresh. What happened?

I've tried a plethora of poke bowl places in mtl & this makes the cut. Great place to get poke bowls. Salmon & Katsu bowls were both savory, fresh, & had a lot of ingredients added. Only downside is a bit pricey. Good service.

I had the Katsu chicken poke bowl. It was fine, the chicken wasn't very good quality for the price compared to everywhere else in Montréal I've eaten. It wasn't homemade coated either It tasted like it was pre made. The ingredients weren't very fresh but I did go towards the end of the day. The rice was pretty average. The quantity of ingredients wasn't the best it was too heavy on the lettuce & not on the rest of the ingredients

Definitely the best poke bowl you can have in Montreal - the bowl already has so many good ingredients without charging you extra, & it's super clean. I'll always come back!

This is easily the best poke you can find in the area. The ingredients are super fresh, & you get a ton of protein like salmon & tuna for what you pay, way more than other places in the plateau.
