pasta(31) fresh(12) mall(9) court(8) sauce(8) fairview(6) wheel(6) quality(6) cheese(4) parmesan(4) value(3) perfectly(3)first of all, i love seeing fellow italians bring our culture to life & create businesses that feel like home. the service is genuinely 10/10. they had accidentally missed something in my order, so i called just to request a refund; instead, the owner personally arranged a delivery to my workplace with a full meal: pasta, arancini, & a drink. above & beyond! not to mention the food is delicious🩷
This place was so incredible! I found if off a whim when I was in a rush & was so pleasantly surprised. I didn't know what to order so the cashier gave me some recommendations & it was spot on. Great food & service. I will absolutely be back. If I can make one recomendation, please try to Nutella horns & cannolis!
Not good, I ordered pasta bowl, the pasta served was raw & the sauce was bland. I don't recommend going here.
The food was bland & completely lacking in flavor. I tried to convince my 9 year old daughter to have pasta here with me because it looked higher end, but she insisted on going to Tevere, which I already find pretty mediocre. Honestly, I was really disappointed to spend $16-18 on such underwhelming food. Even the parmesan wheel pasta toss, which seemed like a fun touch, didn't make it taste any better. I actually liked the sauce from Tevere better, even though their pasta was way overcooked.
I was excited to try Adelina Pasta Bar since it recently opened at Fairview, especially after having Lulu's the week before & hoping for something similar in the West Island. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to expectations.
I ordered the Gigi alla Nona & Pollo Alfredo. The noodles were undercooked, & both dishes were lacking in sauce & flavour. On top of that, the cheese wheel felt more like a gimmick. The server barely scraped any cheese onto the pasta, which was disappointing & made it feel more for show than actual taste.
For the price, I expected a lot more substance & flavour. It's hard not to compare, but this just doesn't come close to Lulu's. The menu itself doesn't offer much variety, & nothing about the food felt memorable or special. Honestly, for a little more money, I'd rather go to one of the established Italian restaurants in the area & have a better experience.
Overall, it was underwhelming, & I don't see myself going back.
Couldn't say anything wrong, we took the Gigi's pasta & WOW!! Sauce was amazing, pasta perfectly cooked, they even have big Parmesan brick to cook your pastas in before putting them in the sauce. I don't know why people here are disappointed. Ahhh also, there were fresh pastas being made as we ordered. Anyways, I'll be back there for sure!
