Best Dal Makhni in Montreal. Great service, great cooking. The owner is probably trying to save money by not switching on the air conditioners when even though it is required. Didn't have Ice, it was 20 degrees out, any restaurants in Montreal serves iced water when it's -30, absurd. Super belle expérience encore une fois. On est habitué à l'autre dans NDG & ici on est aussi bien servi avec de la bouffe de bonne qualité. Nouvelle location directement à l'épicentre de la cuisine indienne de Montréal. Celui la fait exception par son goût authentique, complexe & franc. Les plats sont relevés comme ils devraient l'être & non pour s'adapter à la moyenne de la population qui, trop souvent, n'arrive pas à apprécier la chaleur de ces plats. Bref , ce n'est pas "white wash". Les thalis: grandeur indienne. Rien à voir avec le petit combo qu'on nous sert dans plusieurs restaurant. Ça se comprend, c'est beaucoup de travail & c'est la raison pour laquelle ils ne sont servis que le dimanche. Ils ont trois version de ce plat; poulet, agneau ou végé. We already loved the NDG location but this one is very conveniently located & closer to us. We love the bigger menu, the addition of so many different new items, but we absolutely loved the South-Indian thalis, that are offered on the weekends. The thalis contain 15+ items & come in 3 different options: veg, lamb, or chicken. The variety is amazing & the prices are very decent for the amount of food you get, which is a total steal! They also have a variety of biryani that is not found anywhere else, think chicken 65 biryani, butter chicken biryani, & some classics. The food was absolutely delicious & price is more than fair. We went as a group of 7 & had a really good time sharing a lot of the different options. The menu is quite extensive so I recommend sharing several options.Voir plus
