Had a great time time really nice place I got served by Annabelle at the bar & she was lovely definitely will be coming back
Nice bar with good bites. We felt welcome. The lady who served us was excellent.
We tried the poutine, another dish & some beers.
Just has a beer flight & Bison Poutine here for lunch. All 4 beers were great & the poutine was top notch. Highly recommend!
Annabelle, the bartender, was an absolute inspiration of kindness. After being in Montreal for 24 hours, my family already felt very welcomed, but then along came Annabelle. The food (& drinks) are wonderful, however, the best part was Annabelle's warm, heart-felt smile. Thank you! We will be back...tomorrow.
My family & I are from Calgary, AB & had a great experience. We were worried since we don't speak French fluently, but our server Eric was very friendly & personable. He also made sure we had English menus so there was no confusion when we were ordering & answered all our questions!
All I can say is'French Onion Dip Sandwich'…..absolutely delicious!! It's freezing outside, but I was definitely warmed up! Really great food, drinks, & Daniel provided great service!
3 Brasseurs has the kind of easy charm that works well for a casual night out. The room fills with overlapping conversations, chairs scraping, cutlery clinking, & the low roar of people shaking off their day. During the 5 à 7 rush, the noise level climbs fast. It feels more like a spot where coworkers come to rinse off a factory shift with loud laughs & pints than a place for a calm family evening. Once that rowdy wave of voices thins out, the space softens. You can hear the people at your table again & the whole place suddenly feels much more welcoming.
The food fits that story. Plates arrive with honest pub fare, hot & generous. Burgers, fries, & a kid meal that was fully approved by the small critic at our table, who cleaned the plate with the focus of someone who knows what they like. Nothing tried to be more than it was, & there is something quietly reassuring in that. The trouble starts with service. Getting seated took longer than it should have, even as we watched tables clear. Once we finally sat down, our waiter seemed to orbit far away from us. It took close to half an hour before he even acknowledged the table, then he disappeared again. No follow up, no refills, nothing. We had to flag him down for the bill long after every plate was empty. Oddly, he was still rushing around like a headless chicken, all movement & no real contact. It left the evening split in two. The kitchen felt steady & competent, the dining room felt scattered, as if no one quite remembered that being present can matter as much as what arrives on the plate.
