The service was excellent, & the waitress did everything she could to salvage the experience. She was attentive, professional, & genuinely tried to make things right. Unfortunately, she couldn't overcome how disappointing the food was.
The fish & chips were good, but the poutine was terrible. There was barely any gravy, making it dry & unappetizing. For a restaurant in Quebec, serving a poutine like that is hard to understand.
The biggest disappointment was the bavette. The first steak arrived badly overcooked. The waitress promptly replaced it, but the second one was somehow even more overcooked than the first. At that point, it was clear the kitchen simply wasn't paying attention. To the waitress's credit, she removed it from the bill.
Based on this experience, I can't recommend this location. I've eaten at other locations in the same chain where the food was consistently good, so this seems to be a problem specific to this restaurant..
Capuchin pas de mousse, fish & chips pas mengeable, frites congelees. Bison braise cacher sous une purée de pommes de terre avec des légumes non identifiables & un oignon cuit. Seulement la bière était bonnes. Tout cela pour presque $100. Plus jamais.
Ambiance agréable, excellente bière IPA 0% "3Brasseurs"; cependant, je ne recommande pas le fish n'chip: poisson trop cuit, panure très foncée, (probablement de la vieille huile de friture), & frites molles pire que celles de St-Hubert en livraison.
Pour le fish & chips - trop cuit, la pâte brunâtre pas attirant. Blonde est toujours plus attrayante. La sauce tartare faite avec des dill pickles n'est pas l'idée du siècle- trop acide. Sauce tartare doit toujours être faite avec relish sucrée
Food is horrible. Ordered the Fish & Chips; it had barely any fish, with a 1 cm-thick coating of awful greasy batter. The chef should be ashamed of making such a miserable plate. 😅🫠
Bonnes variétés de bières. Tous les plats que nous avons essayés depuis que nous fréquentons ce resto sont tous bons & le fish & chips est vraiment délicieux. Belle terrasse extérieur. On aime bien ce restaurant. Bon service reçu par la jeune dame. Prix excellent.
Bonjour nous sommes allés manger samedi à votre resto. Fish & chips. Vraiment déçu pourtant avant il était délicieux. Une pâte dure & épaisse avec un peu de poisson à l'intérieur. La nourriture nous roulais dans la bouche & assiette non terminée. J'ai pris une photo de l'intérieur du fish & chip vraiment déçu.
Met some buddies for supper, no problem getting a table, I ordered fish & chips, The service was good, the plate came out the fish was well done, well breaded, the fries were warm at best, the coleslaw was shredded cabbage, not a bit of flavor. First time ever eating cabbage pretending to be coleslaw. Its really not that hard to make. Disappointed to say the least. Our Server was top notch.
