Food was okay but mexican rice was a little too dry & some grains were rock hard. We ordered 2 apps 3 drinks, & 4 mains. The only thing bothering me is the server never checked if need anything or no we called him twice over for couple of things we needed but it seemed like we were being a bother to him. We still did our part by tipping for service we did not receive but in all seriousness Service could have been a bit better! May come back & try some other day. Even the checkout was rushed.
I went here to eat with my friends, the food was good but the service was super slow. Our waiter was nice but we realized that our food took so long, we were waiting for about 40 minutes at least & then to bring the check took so long we had to ask them to bring it. We were there for at least 2 hours which is kinda crazy. The one thing I did not like was when I was about to pay for my me & then obviously I was going to tip him so I asked him how can I tip on the machine to custom my tip because I wanted to give him a bit more & I don't know if he was confused or something but then he just assumed I wasn't going to tip him somehow? & then he said to me'no tip' in front of my friends & I found that rude but I didn't say anything because my friends were there & I didn't want to make him feel embarrassed but I found that very unprofessional & disrespectful. I just don't even know what made him think I wasn't going to tip him I was asking him how could I custom my tip to give him more. Also the manager was not that friendly he would just stand there but I never saw him helping the waiters out with tables if they were behind. He also saw us just sitting there when no one would come to our table to ask us if we were ready for the bill & he didn't do anything he just stood there looking at everyone. I won't be coming back here I'm sure there's a better 3 amigos then this one lol.
I have been to this restaurant several times with my friends & we have always enjoyed the food & atmosphere. We also left tips during our previous visits. This time, we came after finishing our exams to have a nice meal together & celebrate. Unfortunately, our experience at the end of the visit made us feel uncomfortable. As we are young students, we did not have the means to leave a tip on this occasion. After we paid, the server made a comment in a way that felt embarrassing, pointing out that we had not left a tip & asking if we had not enjoyed the service.
I understand that tips are an important part of the service industry, but I don't think it is professional to make customers feel uncomfortable or guilty, especially young people who were simply trying to enjoy a meal after a stressful period. It should have been clear that we are just kids, especially since my order was only fries & a Coke. We left feeling embarrassed instead of happy, even though we came to celebrate.

Past by this Wednesday today. By luck, they had fajitas special. That I totally enjoy. The fajitas dish costed $11.95 +tax/tip. Affordable & tasty Je suis passé mercredi. Par chance, ils proposaient des fajitas spéciales. J'ai adoré. Le plat de fajitas coûtait 11,95 $ + taxes & pourboire. Abordable & savoureux.
Update: I was asked to reach out to them by email. I did. I was told that someone would contact me to discuss the issue. It's been 3 weeks & no one did. I don't recommend anyone to order there. Worst experience.
I ordered takeout. I paid 5$ for extra guacamole & this is what they gave me. The food was burnt. Even if I went to pick it up I gave a generous tip. Coming home to open the box seeing that I was so disappointed. Never again
I recently visited 3 Amigos & really enjoyed the food & the overall vibe - both were great & made for a fun night out.
However, I was quite disappointed with how our server handled the payment process. Up until that point, everything was going smoothly. But when it came to tipping, things took an uncomfortable turn. I had no intention of skipping the tip - I simply wanted to choose a different amount & add it manually, rather than using the preset percentage options.
Instead of respecting that, the server cancelled our transaction & insisted on a minimum 15% tip. He did not allow us to proceed with payment until we complied. Eventually, I ended up paying in cash, at which point he accepted it & let us pay.
I don't believe tipping should ever be forced. It felt like greedy behavior & left a negative impression at the end of an otherwise good experience. Hospitality should never include pressuring guests, especially when they're already willing to tip. I hope management addresses this so others don't have a similar experience
I've been coming to this restaurant for about 30 years & have always enjoyed the food. For that reason I'm giving 3 stars instead of less. However I was very unhappy today with the server's attitude regarding a tip. If I didn't want change back I would have told the server. I wanted little time to calculate how much to give, based on the net amount before tax. When she came back to get the card machine from my friend, she asked again about a tip, which I then gave her, with less grace than I should have because I felt pressured. It'll be a long time before I go to this restaurant again.
Best place for Mexican food in downtown & has lots of vegetarian options too. But the only thing I don't like here is the way they always force you to tip them high.
