Absolutely horrendous-please avoid this place at all costs.
The food was terrible. Even the basic sushi rolls tasted bad, which is honestly hard to mess up. After the first few orders, we wanted to leave, but we decided to stay just to see if everything was really as bad as it seemed. Unfortunately, it was.
The service was also very slow. We ordered multiple items that never arrived, & some of the dishes we did receive were incorrect. To make things worse, no one cleared the empty plates, so our entire table ended up covered with them.
The advertisement that convinced us to come here felt like false advertising, & the experience didn't match what was promised at all.
Overall, one of the worst dining experiences I've had. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
Also, I think the 5 star reviews are bots or either paid reviews, not sure what the 5 stars are for.
Fast service & good food. The spaghetti & noodle dishes were a bit too salty for my liking - an option for adjusting the saltiness would've been great. Very happy to have this halal restaurant in the West Island!

Très mauvaise expérience. Après 1h de route pour découvrir ce restaurant je suis repartie de là en ayant faim !!! Nous sommes venus en famille. J'ai d'abord commandé des sushis à l'avocat en expliquant que je suis allergique & qu'il ne fallait pas qu'il y ait des algues. Ils ont été servis avec les algues. J'explique au serveur, qui me dit qu'il m'en rapporte sans algues.... Quelques minutes plus tard il revient me disant que ce n'est pas possible. Je commande alors des dumplings qui ai bout de 25 min n'étaient toujours pas servis alors que d'autres plats commandés après arrivaient. Je demande à une serveuse, qui me dit qu'elle s'en charge. Mais aucun dumplings n'arrivera... Je demande à une autre serveuse qui me dit qu'elle va prévenir la cuisine & me les apporte... Un long moment plus tard je lui redemande...Elle repart en cuisine & revient pour m'annoncer qu'ils ont arrêté le service & qu'ils ne me les feront pas... Mon mari avait commandé une crème glacée qui n'est pas arrivée non plus. En partant payer à la caisse, il explique qu'il n'a pas reçu sa crème glacée. On lui sert dans un bol à apportez... Mais comme il n'y a plus de cuillère on lui donne des baguettes pour la...manger... Pour ma part j'explique mon mécontentement... Au final la personne à la caisse (qui était la première personne à qui j'ai signalé que mes dumplings n'étaient pas arrivés) m'a dit d'un ton assez sec : bah en fait y'a que vos sushis & vos dumplings qui ne sont pas arrivé....euh...oui... En effet... Sauf que c'était l'essentiel de mon repas. J'ai donc payé une facture salée pour ne pas avoir mangé grand chose... Elle m'a fait une réduction de 5%...bah en ayant pas mangé les 90 % de ce que j'avais commandé.... C'est bof bof... Je ne demandais pas forcément une réduction supplémentaire mais une prise en considération ! On ne reviendra pas c'est sûr... & quand je vois tous les avis négatifs... Je comprends mieux... D'ailleurs la table à côté de nous, n'a pas eu notre patience & est partie avant même l'arrivée de leur premier plat...

Je redemande à cette personne qui part voir en cuisine & revient me dire que c'est trop tard, ils ne peuvent pas les faire... Mon mari commande une crème glacée qui n'arrive pas non plus. Il va la récupérer en allant payer notre facture. Plus de cuillère, il devra manger sa crème glacée avec des baguettes...Au final quand j'explique cela à la personne à la caisse, on me répond : c'est bon au final il n'y a que les sushis & les dumplings qui ne vous ont pas été servis... Oui... C'était l'essentiel de mon repas. J'ai faim... On nous a fait une réduction de 5%. Je ne cherchais pas forcément à avoir plus de réduction mais avoir fait 1h de route l'aller... Je ne reviendrais pas...
1001 Nuits is absolutely beautiful inside… the décor & atmosphere are its strongest features & make for a lovely dining experience. The staff were friendly, & the owner was welcoming, which I really appreciated.
Unfortunately, the overall experience felt quite disorganized. Several menu items weren't available, & ordering through the QR code system wasn't seamless. Even after entering our order in the app, some items never showed up, creating confusion & delays. To top it off, they told us they couldn't make the waffle ice cream cones because they had run out of flour.
The food itself was the biggest disappointment. The General Tao chicken was overwhelmingly salty & lacked the rich sweet-&-savoury umami flavour you'd expect. The fried rice was dry, & the pineapple fried rice was served on a regular plate instead of inside a pineapple as advertised, which was misleading & took away from the presentation.
If Gordon Ramsay walked into this kitchen, he'd probably try to rip the menu apart… except there isn't one-it's a QR code. Instead, he'd probably rip apart the ordering system, the lack of organization, the unavailable items, & the inconsistent execution. Even Uncle Roger would likely take one bite of that fried rice & say,'Haiyaa… so dry!'
The restaurant has incredible potential because the atmosphere is stunning & the staff are genuinely kind. However, the kitchen needs to focus on flavour, consistency, & delivering what's advertised. One final piece of advice: don't always trust influencer hype. Sometimes the photos & videos are more impressive than the actual dining experience.
If i can give a negative star this is the worst restaurant i've ate. Food was cold & blend no taste. Pictures are fake. The server gave us an extra egg roll with his bare hands which is quite crazy 😂. Go eat Hoshi its a better all you can eat.
