Open since 2014, BOEUF COCHON established its first location in Saint-Jérôme. Seeing the positive response from their customers, they opened a second location in 2017 in Centre Laval. A location in Rosemère is planned to open in October 2021, another on the South Shore planned for summer of 2022, and many more to come!
Owner Rabih Miri has over 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry and this is his first project entirely conceived and designed by him.
At each of the Boeuf Cochon locations, you can see an evolution of details that distinguish them from each other. For Mr. Miri, it is essential to be ahead of the trends in this industry and to differentiate himself from other restaurants in the same category.
As you walk through the various locations, will you notice the various differences between them?
How did the concept of Boeuf Cochon come about?
The owner, Rabih Miri, got the idea while chatting with his previous business partners and his wife by the pool. She asked him what he wanted to serve in his steakhouse. He wanted to serve delicious cuts of beef and pork and after thinking about it over and over again, they came up with the name "Boeuf Cochon". The name is a clear indication of what you will find, but that's not all!
It's important for them that the whole family finds something on the menu that they will enjoy, so you can eat different cuts of beef, pork, mussels, tartar, pasta, and seafood. All options are equally good.
A visit to Boeuf Cochon will give you the full experience! They have great music, great cocktails made with Quebec spirits, beers from local microbreweries, carefully selected food, impeccable service, and all in a friendly atmosphere. You can even choose from a wide selection of wines in their cellar, many of which are private imports.
It is impossible to enter without noticing the different cuts of meat dry-aged on-site. Very few restaurants in Quebec offer this, another detail is taken into account to stand out from the competition. Moreover, they offer more than fifteen different cuts... there is something for everyone.
Everything is thought out so that you will have a great time! A perfect example: if some people want to watch their favorite sports game, it's possible with their large screens, while others can continue to converse since the music continues to play.
When asked about the favorites on the menu, we were told about their roast beef cooked for 12 hours, their famous ribs, the general tao chicken, their tartars and we can't pass by without mentioning their fries which are perfectly cooked and crispy. For dessert lovers, we highly recommend their homemade pudding with real maple syrup!
They like to treat their customers with different promotions and we have gathered them here:
- Happy hour specials from 4 to 7 every day;
- All-you-can-eat mussels from Sunday to Tuesday;
- Oysters are $1 on Wednesdays and
- Thursdays are specials on chef's pasta, beef and salmon tartar, chef's salad, and filet mignon.
The concept is expanding and they are looking for franchisees to open new locations. We are sure that many more Boeuf Cochon locations will open in the years to come.
