I have been to this restaurant tons of times and have loved the food and atmosphere. Today's experience was possibly THE WORST thing I have ever experienced at a restaurant. I ordered a steak cooked medium and it came out overcooked. When the waitress passed by, I told her it was overcooked and she proceeded to argue with me telling me I was wrong and it was perfectly cooked. Medium steak should be pink in the middle and mine was anything but that. She wanted to know what I wanted her to do, I told her to bring it back and make sure it wasn't overcooked. She came back a minute later and told me, the kitchen told her it was medium and they would offer me something else off the menu. I told her I wanted to same thing just not overcooked. I was told that wouldn't be possible. I sucked it up and ate the meal completely discontent. I called later that evening to speak with the owner to speak of my unpleasant experience and to my surprise, she told me the way the cooked the steak was medium and I should have ordered it medium rare if I wanted it medium. She was completely unapologetic and told me they weren't going to make me another steak because she thought I would send it back again. She argued with me for about 10 minutes and never once apologized. She proceeded to hang up on me. The customer is always right and as a restaurant you should always aim to exceed the customers expectations and make them happy. I am so disappointed by what I experienced today and urge you to take a stand and show these guys that this is NOT the way to treat a customer! -Severely Dissatisfied
