I've eaten here several times and I always forget how big the portions are so I order too much. The food is authentic, fresh and cooked just right. I love the horta, the grilled mushrooms and grilled octopus, the fried calamari is delicious too I've been told. I love the fact that it's Greek older women that serve, feels like my mom is bringing me food? What can beat that feeling, being served great food by a mom-tpye-figure? The bus boys are helpful too and don't get me wrong, there are some male waiters too. I's a family type of atmosphere and I appreciate the staff looking professional. They are helpful in recommending dishes even though all of them are great. When you like to eat healthy with not too heavy condiments, this is the place to try. It may seem like parking is difficult to find because of the location but I've had no problem finding parking. The location in the West Island has a parking lot so it's easier in terms of location and the food is just as good and as generous. The decor in the West Island is more modern so it depends what type of atmosphere you're looking for, modern or homey (Jean Talon). Staff is also friendly and polite.

I've been to this place when I was much younger and I remember there being more stuffed animals on the wall than just one moose head. It might be time to take that one down too. The carpet looks like it's been well taken care of because it must still be the same one. lol What an old design. Service was quick, waiter was fast and no nonsense, so we ordered ate quick and left! Food portion was huge and ended up taking some home because it's a waste to have them throw it out. Calamari was good, frozen or not, it beats out some other places. Shrimp and chicken was good too but I have tasted better. Place is still small, affordable and I'm glad that they are still open after all these years.
