I placed my order at 6:05pm through Just eat. The confirmation indicated that delivery would take up to an hour. At 7:15 I called the restaurant to follow up. I was told that it would be another 30 minutes. Their drivers 'were busy'. I accepted the delay after a promise of a complimentary salad. 45 minutes later, still no food, I called again. 'It will be another 30 minutes' - the order had not yet left the restaurant. At this point I asked for my money back. They told me for a refund I would have to go through JustEat but instead I could call in my order next time and they would give me a rebate. I told him there would not be a next time and I got off the phone to contact JustEat. After explaining the situation, the person at JustEat contacted the restaurant. At 8:13pm he told me that the owner herself was delivering my order and was only 2-3 minutes away. The order arrived at 8:45pm, not 'by the owner herself'. The driver was turned away and I received my refund from JustEat. The restaurant lied to me as well as the JustEat operator. Lies after lies, horrible customer service, I will never order from there again.
